Zip Collins is a thief but when he breaks into Faith Robert's house he comes out with a different point of view. Determined to change direction, he obtains a job in a Salvage Yard where his duties include hauling trash to the local landfill. He's happy when his boss's new partner, Burton Miller, loads the dump-truck for him on two occasions leaving him with only the duty of taking the rubbish to the landfill and dumping it. However, when a body is found in the landfill a day later, Zip starts to suspect that maybe he was set up to dump that body. Anxious to keep his job, concerned that he'll take the fall if he reports his suspicions, Zip panics. He tells his new friend about his suspicions entangling her in the web of conspiracy he suspects his employers of. Are his suspicions real or has he let his imagination get the better of him? One thing is for sure, two men are missing and one was found dead in the landfill where he had just dumped a load of trash.

How To Hug A Smelly Guy written by Jeff Johnson and has been published by WestBow Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-08 with Religion categories.

When was the last time you hugged a smelly guy? You know who I mean—you can tell he's coming before he arrives. Maybe the guy's been homeless for a while, living outside, hasn't had a shower in weeks. You smile at him, talk to him politely, ask how he's been, and then he holds up his arms for a hug. What are you going to do? Will you embrace him as a brother, so hard that some of his stink rubs off on you? God is at work through people like you. He is still doing the things that He always did. He hasn't left; He hasn't forgotten. I want to encourage you by showing you some failures, as well as some successes; by telling you some stories about God working in the lives of ordinary people, in an ordinary city, in ordinary churches. Nothing special, nothing amazing from a human perspective, but when God was done, there was something new going on. Something good. Even something very good. This is a book of stories about people just like you who have heard God's call to minister among the least of these. These stories are full of God's grace and hope that our ministry with those in poverty and despair is bringing God joy and saving lives. If you're an urban church planter, a missionary to the poor, someone with a heart for the homeless, or just a person who wants to see our cities strong and alive, open the cover and read.

Henrietta Davis has been murdered and her boyfriend, Boyd Collins, was tried and convicted of the crime. Now Boyd's father Zip Collins receives a letter from his son pleading innocence and asking him to find out who really murdered her. Boyd has also sent a letter to Claudia Parker, the leader of a mystery lovers group asking if the group will assist his father in finding the truth about the murder. Zip is reluctant to become involved at first but after a visit to his son, he becomes convinced of Boyd's innocence and decides to help him. He works with the group to find answers and to uncover potential suspects. Soon it is clear that although Boyd had a motive to kill Henrietta, so did quite a few others. Zip and his girlfriend Faith Roberts blunder into hot water as they try to solve the puzzle. Meanwhile Zip copes with low self-esteem issues as his 'Ma' digs into family matters that he feels diminishes him. He is acutely aware of the whispers from the community. Whispers on the Wind is set in Hillsboro, Ohio. The characters travel route fifty from Hillsboro to Bainbridge and sometimes to Chillicothe. Cynthiana, Carmel, and Sinking Spring also figure into the geography of the book.

James "Smelly" Kelly used his super-senses and intelligence to make sure that the New York City subway in the 1930s ran safely throughout his lifetime and beyond. James Kelly smelled EVERYTHING: rats in the shed; circus elephants a mile away; tomorrow's rain. His sense of smell was EXTRAORDINARY. But what good was a powerful nose? How could his super-sniffer make him special? In the New York City subway, James found his calling--and earned the nickname "Smelly" Kelly. Armed with his super-sniffer and the tools he invented, he tracked down leaks from the dangerous to the disgusting, from the comical to the bizarre. Then, he sprang into action to prevent cave-ins and explosions in the tunnels beneath the city. Smelly Kelly not only hunted leaks but also saved lives--and he discovered the truly extraordinary power inside him. Beth Anderson's fast-paced text and Jenn Harney's comical illustrations bring to life this everyday superhero.
