Much thought-provoking evidence suggests that the way you look, think, react to life events, and interact with other people may be predisposed by the experiences of one or more human beings who lived in the past. Even if you don't know who they were, you may find what appears to be their "soulprints" in the person you are today and the manner in which you live. The Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation explores these ideas, focusing on verifiable information that can be tested by objective means. The detailed, robust case studies presented here not only suggest that reincarnation is more than just a metaphysical concept, but also indicate that it is a valid subject of scientific inquiry.

Personal genome testing, gene editing for life-threatening diseases, synthetic life: once the stuff of science fiction, twentieth- and twenty-first-century advancements blur the lines between scientific narrative and scientific fact. This examination of bioengineering in popular and literary culture shows that the influence of science on science fiction is more reciprocal than we might expect. Looking closely at the work of Margaret Atwood, Richard Powers, and other authors, as well as at film, comics, and serial television such as Orphan Black, Everett Hamner shows how the genome age is transforming both the most commercial and the most sophisticated stories we tell about the core of human personhood. As sublime technologies garner public awareness beyond the genre fiction shelves, they inspire new literary categories like “slipstream” and shape new definitions of the human, the animal, the natural, and the artificial. In turn, what we learn of bioengineering via popular and literary culture prepares the way for its official adoption or restriction—and for additional representations. By imagining the connections between emergent gene testing and editing capacities and long-standing conversations about freedom and determinism, these stories help build a cultural zeitgeist with a sharper, more balanced vision of predisposed agency. A compelling exploration of the interrelationships among science, popular culture, and self, Editing the Soul sheds vital light on what the genome age means to us, and what’s to come.

¿The Soul of Nature¿ offers a scientific basis to comprehend the inherent unity, hidden within human beings, and all living creatures. To be alive in the world, demands the development and utilization of a full spectrum of energies. This is the miracle of life and the meaning behind the struggle to survive. To live requires the densest bone material and also the finest levels of awareness and consciousness each species can muster. What humans refer to as ¿soul¿ can only be realized when all possible energies come into a unified harmony. And ¿soul¿ may have many different degrees and levels. To seek out the truth in our modern world we cannot avoid exploring science and technology. At the same time some may still hear the call, reaching us from ancient times, concerning an inner world we also need to explore. The evolutionary effect of science and technology on ourselves must be taken into account. This development has gradually moved humans further away from a direct contact and experience of our own nature. This is true both externally as well as internally, and also in a physical as well as emotional and psychological way. This increasing separation from a natural order needs to become reconciled within. We are tearing ourselves apart. We are in danger of losing our sense of unity, both within ourselves, with our neighbors, and with the world around us.

Immunology of the Soul is a most extraordinary book--one that raises questions about our abilities to not only protect the earth's children from physical diseases through immunization, but to protect their souls from its sicknesses through spiritual immunization. As Dr. Ursula Anderson puts it, diseases of the soul are to be found in virtually every nook and cranny on this planet. No place is immune. It is her thought that all life depends on energy in all of its infinite frequencies, and since it abounds in every culture and society, why not raise the question of negative energies--those that lead to dysfunction and disease--and how they can be altered and made positive. This book is the first to point the way BEYOND THE GENOME--to the next great discovery that scientists are now addressing--what turns the genome on and what controls it. Islamic Ethics and the Genome Question is one of the very first academic works, which examine the field of genomics from an Islamic perspective. This twelve-chapter volume presents the results from a pioneering seminar held in 2017 at the Research Center for Islamic Legislation & Ethics, College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, in Qatar. The contributors to this volume, coming from different disciplines and specializations, approached the key ethical questions raised by the emerging field of genomics, viz. the Genome Question (GQ), from various angles and perspectives. Their shared thesis is that the breadth and depth of both the GQ and the Islamic tradition necessitate going beyond just producing quick answers in response to immediate questions. In order to accommodate the complexity and wide scope of the GQ, the volume included critical analyses of the ethical discourse on genomics, from outside the Islamic tradition. Within the Islamic tradition, the contributing authors explored how the QG can be better explored by involving insights from various disciplines including Quran exegesis, Islamic jurisprudence, philosophy and theology. Besides its interest for researchers and students specialized in ethics, bioethics and Islamic studies, this volume will be a source of important information for geneticists, genomicists and social scientists who are interested in the ethical discourse about genomics in the Muslim world. Contributors include Arzoo Ahmed, Abbas Amir, Saadia Bendenia, Mohammed Ghaly, Mutaz al-Khatib, Amara Naceur, Aasim I. Padela, Ayman Shabana, Trevor Stammers, Mehrunisha Suleman and Hub Zwart.

Biblical Geneticist, Jakob Fuqua, uncovers direct proof of mankinds origin by totally exposing the physical genome with his recent discovery of mans Spiritual Genome in this bold new book entitled, In Search of the Spiritual Genome: The Complete Blueprint of Man. Citing 1 Corinthians 15:39, as a foundation, Fuqua irrefutably proves mans DNA is totally separate from that of animals, fish, and birds. Scientific man boasts he has found the complete genetic blueprint of man, but he has no knowledge, or understanding, of mans spiritual DNA which is received directly from our Heavenly Father, Fuqua emphatically contend. Until we discover our spiritual genes, we can never become complete. This 21st century breakthrough in both religions and scientific thought details the spiritual genomes origin, expansion, function and side-by-side comparison with the physical genome totally contradicting the theory that humans evolved from Apes. God made man first, then animals. The genetic differences are minute, but God does make a clear distinction, declares Fuqua who depicts Biblical gene-alogy in an entirely new light. Only through the discovery of our individual Spiritual Genome can we ever hope to find true happiness and the station in life which God has designed each for us.

Immunology Of The Soul written by Ursula M. Anderson and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998-06 with categories.

In what some have called a 'masterpiece,' physician Ursula Anderson raises questions about our ability to not only protect our children from physical disease through immunization -- but to protect their 'souls' through new forms of life and spiritual 'immunization.' In light of recent developments surrounding the infamous Genome Project, she raises questions about how we as a civilization can use the energy forces within each of ourselves to ward off dys-functions in thought and deed as well as the 'dys-eases' that attack our bodies and minds. A major work that backs up its theories and questions with hard statistical evidence. Through decades of research and pioneering efforts in pediatrics and preventative medicine, Dr. Anderson is amply qualified to raise the questions she does so poignantly in this book.
