When we have difficult questions, the Bible has answers. Join Rick Warren, pastor and New York Times bestselling author, as he invites us to take a closer look at key biblical figures and the ways in which they faced difficult questions and challenges in their daily lives. In God's Answers to Life's Difficult Questions, Warren uses stories from scripture to teach us that the Bible is filled with examples of real people who faced the same dilemmas we're facing today. By demonstrating the ways in which God chooses to use ordinary people to accomplish his plans--despite their weaknesses and failures--Warren gives us hope as we take on life's countless challenges. Better yet, Warren provides us with realistic solutions that we can start putting into practice today. Taking us inside the lives of biblical characters including Moses, Paul, and Jesus himself, Warren gives us a chance to see the up-close-and-personal ways they navigated their own circumstances. Although God's Answers to Life's Difficult Questions is anchored in timeless stories from scripture, Warren also weaves in modern examples that address the twelve questions he's asked the most as a spiritual leader, including: How can I learn to handle discouragement? How can I respond better in a crisis? How do I become more resilient when I feel like a failure? How can I fight my loneliness? How is change possible for me? How can I lead a more peaceful life? The concrete, practical insights that Warren shares in God's Answers to Life's Difficult Questions will give you the tools you need to build up your resilience, strengthen your relationship with God, and finally enjoy a life full of lasting purpose, peace, and significance.

I have been inspired to write this book and my last book "Gods Posts" Truth Lives In Us All", through the Holy Spirit. My wife and I read scripture and lessons each and every morning, I have gone through a lot of things in my life and I have been writing since I was in a mass media class in 1973 starting with Poetry and writing short stories when I was in High school. There is words in these books that I am sure everyone can relate to. This is God's Gift to me of revival to all, I believe End Times are here and I love you all just as we are taught in His commandments Mark 12:28-34 NIV 29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." I feel that the journalling that was impressed upon me from church and was further impressed by the Holy Spirit; led me to share to others what all of you need to read, hear and understand from our Lord. I want to impress on all, that the Bible is the living breath of God and that He loves us all unconditionally. The only way to be with Him as sinless People in Heaven is the path created for us to have our sins forgiven and to keep out of Hell. That path was His son Jesus Christ who died on a cross and took all our sins with him for all time. We need to believe in him and ask for forgiveness of our sins. John 3:16 says: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

In 1950, farming was the primary way of providing for one's family. Dad was very controlling, and he decided that his entire family would be productive. Mother had a newborn baby and Hannah was chosen to baby-sit at age five. She felt insecure and the challenge was overwhelming. Living with Dad was difficult because he was abusive, negligent, and very opinionated. His priorities were not up to standards, and Mother's opinion was not valued. Her siblings were denied a chance to acquire a formal education. They were reluctant to speak up because they too, feared lashes from Pharaoh's whip. Mom was passive, but she kept the faith that her children would overcome the hardships, begin again, and prosper. God saw them through the difficult times. It is always something and always will be. However, life goes on. One must carefully set his or her goal and work, drive, or push toward it continuously. Never, never give up nor be afraid of failure. If failure comes, try again. If this book does not convey anything else, all readers who open its cover will keep a strong faith throughout their lives. Endurance is the master key and perseverance is the door.

Navigating The Storms Of Life written by Samson Chama and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017 with Social workers categories.

In life, people face challenges and storms that come in different forms and fashions. These personal storms vary in scope, size and gravity, and some have short term effects whereas others may have long term effects. Whatever the magnitude of a storm, perhaps the most critical consideration at the end of the day is not so much the challenges or storms themselves, but rather how people respond to them. In this era of social, economic and political uncertainty, it is important for human service professionals such as social workers to gain a deeper understanding of different types of challenges that may impact the people they assist. Furthermore, it is important for them to attain a good grasp and understanding of how to address and manage these storms effectively. They may manage them on their own behalf or with their clients. A lack of understanding of these storms may lead to ineffective and misplaced interventions which do not offer any hope for the future. When people facing storms are given misplaced assistance or support, both the social worker and the client lose. This book examines the subject of storms from a Christian perspective and uses a real life experience of loss to highlight important lessons for both Christian and non-Christian social workers. It incorporates in each chapter vivid and thoughtful examples that illustrate storms, their impact on people and implications for recovery. Each chapter is coupled within a social workers perspective that highlights useful lessons for social work practice. The chapters also provide the reader with reflective questions that engage the readers by giving them an opportunity to explore their own lives, as well as discover life challenges they might have faced. The book not only sheds light on storms and challenges, but provides a relevant nexus of hope, faith and courage. This is exemplified in the chapters toward the end of the book that offer hope for now and for the hereafter. This is crucial in that the chapters do not leave the reader hanging and wondering what is next, but rather cultivate in the reader timely confidence, purpose for survival and a bigger perspective. This book is a hope builder, a confidence giver and a purpose provider for those struggling with challenges and personal storms in their lives. It provides readers with a new lens for the present and beyond, a lens for overcoming any storm. Individuals of all backgrounds including Christian and non-Christian social workers will gain from this book. It will not only strengthen their resolve for life, but will allow them the tenacity to look forward to a life after this. It is a reminder that, despite the storms and no matter how much people suffer, God is orchestrating the story. He is in control, He knows what He is doing, and at the end of the day its about Him.
