The Christmas story when Nana found a spark of good in Danny Mack, the village miser and misanthrope. How the sunken German U-Boat near our cottage in Maine reminded Nana of the magic salt machine stolen from her village. The Saga of how her father dealt with the banshee that howled all night and kept people terrified in their homes. The book is warm, funny, thougtfu1, and captures the spirit, wisdom, and humor of a good and strong woman, who touched so many lives for the better. The book will amuse, entertain, and warmthe hearts of every member of the family.
