There is a court in heaven. It is in session NOW. The Judge is God. The Defendant is God (Christ Jesus). The Plaintiff is Satan. The Witnesses are the people (on earth). God established the Supreme Court of Heaven after the creation of the heavens and the earth. He established it because he had created beings both in heaven and on earth that had freewill. When their freewill would lead them against his will, then he would need to use this court to judge them. Either angels or people, all would have to face the judgement of God. No creature has power to escape God's judgement in heaven. In some cases compiled in this book of revelations, God appears in the court as the Defendant, because even his creation is allowed to file cases against him. So if God is the Defendant in some cases, then who is the Judge? God himself is the Judge. He is a perfect God such that he is able to preside as the Judge and the Defendant of the same case. He can pass a judgment against himself and also sentence himself! The Cross is a proof of that. First Enoch is an ancient Judean work that inaugurated the genre of apocalypse. Chapters 1–36 tell the story of the descent of angels called “Watchers” from heaven to earth to marry human women before the time of the flood, the chaos that ensued, and God’s response. They also relate the journeying of the righteous scribe Enoch through the cosmos, guided by angels. Heaven, including the place and those who dwell there (God, the angels, and Enoch), plays a central role in the narrative. But how should heaven be understood? Existing scholarship, which presupposes “Judaism” as the appropriate framework, views the Enochic heaven as reflecting the temple in Jerusalem, with God’s house replicating its architecture and the angels and Enoch functioning like priests. Yet recent research shows the Judeans constituted an ethnic group, and this view encourages a fresh examination of 1 Enoch 1–36. The actual model for heaven proves to be a king in his court surrounded by his courtiers. The major textual features are explicable in this perspective, whereas the temple-and-priests model is unconvincing. The author was a member of a nontemple, scribal group in Judea that possessed distinctive astronomical knowledge, promoted Enoch as its exemplar, and was involved in the wider sociopolitical world of their time.

I'm telling you this is the most essential, pivotal time of all time. I truly think that things are in motion, that things are being put in order. When you keep going after something and the doors don't open or things don't happen, it's frustrating. What's wrong with you simply going after it and going after it, but nothing seems to open up? Is it necessary for a court ruling to be made? I believe so. I started searching my heart for what God had to say today, and then He started speaking. God stated the heavenly court is currently in session anytime that phrase appeared. There are things about to open up for the body of Christ like never before, no matter where you are in the things of God. Decisions are going to be made exclusively for your benefit. Do you believe that prophecy has any power? Prophetic pronouncements have power. A portion of the celestial court is making decisions. The first topic I'd want to discuss is the prophetic decree. I'd like to talk a little bit about this because we can proclaim anything we want if we don't know how to release decrees that actually strike the mark, but we know they won't happen if we don't announce decrees that are from God. For a season, we must announce what God wants to do. It's a revelation concerning celestial courts, and it's God's command for this season. We talk about praise courts from time to time. As a church, I believe we don't have a clear knowledge of what's truly going on in paradise. In one of my books and some previous teachings on the celestial court system, I went into great depth. I followed the instructions line by line and precept by precept. Unless it's going to tap you in something fresh, you don't want to preach all your old stuff all the time. I'd like to quickly discuss angels as well. In revival meetings, we've received some angelic attention. We've had some angels come, and we've had some angels about, and if you don't believe in angels, you might as well forget about the judicial system, because guess who makes the choices in heaven? Angels are the ones who are putting forth the effort. We'll also learn how important it is to make decrees in order to activate heaven's court and fight God's plan, as well as to bring healing to our lives. In the beginning, God created Adam and Eve to have dominion; recall, they were formed to have dominion in the earthly sphere, to have the authority to issue decrees in the earth. Do you remember what happened when Adam was told to identify the animals? He was uttering words in order for them to be fulfilled. It was already the case that God's spokesperson, Adam, was given authority. Everything God did, in the beginning, was passed on to Adam to carry on. He wielded the power of the spoken word. To keep the prophetic writing flowing, most of this is related to scriptures. At the end of this, we added a chapter to provide more of a scriptural reference.
