She dedicates the book to the late matriarchs of her life, mother Johnnie Lee Howard, Mother in love, Lois Leaphart, grandmother Ma Pat (Elsie Jackson) and sister, Phyllis Ann Johnson as well as her father, the late Bishop John D. Howard, who instilled in her spiritual foundations, values and commitment. They all played a major role in aiding her to become the woman she is today. They are the wind beneath her wings...
