"The greatest measuring rod of love in the life of a Christian may be forgiveness, because God showed His love to us in terms of forgiveness." ?John MacArthur Does anyone really want to forgive? Or admit that we need forgiveness? Whether we're giving or receiving, forgiveness is hard. It seems unfair. It feels unnatural. And as best-selling author and pastor John MacArthur demonstrates, forgiveness apart from Christ is unnatural. It is only as we understand our need, Christ's power and example, and what it reallly means to love that we can embrace two of the most liberating acts of love: forgiving and being forgiven. The Truth About Series For decades MacArthur has encouraged countless Christians to develop a deeper understanding of the Bible and a greater respect for God's truth. In The Truth About series, he now gathers his landmark teachings about core aspects of the Christian faith in one place. The primary benefit of this forgiveness book is it challenges us to be the spiritual people we were created to be. Living in happy, healthy and whole relationships, with ourselves, others and God. I have seen and heard over the years, so many people talking about forgiveness and what they think forgiveness is. I have come to believe that most people do not know the truth about forgiveness or the power forgiveness has for the one who chooses to forgive and be forgiven. When we choose to forgive, the end result is freedom to live our lives without all the hindrances anger, hatred, resentments, bitterness, and unforgiveness fills our hearts and spirits with. Forgiveness opens ourselves to getting our lives back into a place of balance, so that we can live in peace and harmony with ourselves and then with others. The unique message of this book is the truth and reality it illustrates. It shows how we can live in true spirituality and life from a perspective we can all relate to and understand. It is written from a personal and experiential perspective as I have journey with myself and others. I feel what sets this forgiveness book a part is it is inspired by God, written for God's people. The book will help the reader to know the truth about what forgiveness is and what it is not. I have included illustrations and life stories which will help the reader see and understand more fully and completely what happens in our spirits, body and emotions when we allow anger, bitterness, resentments, hatred and unforgiveness to build up in our hearts and lives. Then what happens in our lives, spirits and hearts when we choose to let go and allow forgiveness to be a part of our life plan and purpose

We know we’re supposed to forgive, but we just can’t forget. And it’s that struggle in our soul that keeps our hurts and hearts from being healed – creating a gap between our pain and the peace we’re so desperate for to seem completely unbridgeable. When it comes to forgiveness, we so easily confuse God’s love with our own and find ourselves frustrated and confused without a clear understanding of what God is really asking us to do. It’s through The Forgiveness Factor that you’ll come to clearly understand what God means when He says to ‘forgive’. And more than likely, it’s not what you think. It’s in uncovering the truth about forgiveness, by revealing the lies, that you’ll be set free from the burden that forgiveness seems to bring. You’ll realize that you’re only giving up your hope for a different past ... realizing that wrongs may never be made right, but they can be forgiven.

Apostle N. I. Malevu wrote this book after discovering how less people knew about biblical principles governing forgiveness. This book will not only teach the reader about principles of forgiveness, but it will enable the reader to see what forgiveness is not. There are many books written about forgiveness and sermons preached about forgiveness, and it seems like there is enough information on this subject already. Now the question is, why should you read this book? With the information you know, if you do not know these biblical truths, this book is a must-read for you. 1. There are people you cannot forgive even when you want to. This is a biblical truth. 2. You cannot forgive beyond your authority. This too is a biblical truth. 3. The feeling that a person should get what he deserves is not wrong, but escaping its trap is crucial. This book will equip you with vital information that will enable you to do just that. This book will also show you what forgiveness is not. For an example, forgiveness is not releasing negative emotions toward a person who offended you. Apostle N. I. Malevu wrote this book to set you free from inaccurate knowledge that brings bondage and depression all in the name of forgiveness. It is guaranteed that you cannot read this book and remain the same. God made forgiving to be very easy, but the enemy made it look like it is a hard thing to do. Know the truth, and it will set you free. Graham Oosthuis is senior pastor of Bergville Christian Church and a founder and general overseer of Bergville Christian Academy. This is what he said about this book: Sin initially hurt all of mankind and hurt people hurt people! This perpetuating cycle of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth interactions with one another has fed and nourished the evil spirit of revenge, conflict, and war across the globe. Jesus came and threw a spanner into the works of this social virus by introducing, displaying, and teaching on the great art of forgiveness. I have personally known Apostle Malevu, his wife, and ministry for many years, and I find his energy and integrity in ministry both refreshing and inspiring. I believe that his revelation on the vital subject of forgiveness is unique, enlightening, and above all, liberating. I heartily recommend his book and trust that many of the readers will be released from the emotional and spiritual dungeons that imprison multitudes of believers in the trauma of misunderstanding, confusion, and guilt.

Forgive God for letting you live in a world of fear, pain, and sorrow. Forgive yourself for asking to be born to experience a world of fear, pain, and sorrow. Forgive all humanity from one end of the world to the other for all the wrong things you think they have done to you and your love ones. Forgive the lion that clawed you; forgive the bear that attacked you. Forgive the ants that flood your counter top; forgive the cockroaches that infest your floors; forgive the spiders that fang you as you sleep. Forgive the tree that timbered on your rooftop; forgive the poison oak that infected your skin. Forgive viruses, bacteria, and cells that make you feel the painful effects of illness; forgive the pollen, dander, and foods that give the illusion of allergies. Forgive all life and let the domino effect fall where it may. Send good and positive energy that will flow through the current of the air, ultimately reaching the universe where it will boomerang mind to mind, life to life. Remember to thank God and the universe for the domino and boomerang effect through forgiveness. Remember, forgiveness breaks the chains of bondage of all life. Forgiveness releases you and them from the burdens of prison. I forgive you, and your chains and mine are broken. We are now free to be. Let the domino effect sweep through and let the boomerang effect soar through the core of your mind and heart where the spirit will be awakened because it remembers truth. I recognize and understand fully how controversial some of this poetry is. Controversial comes from many various beliefs, what we choose to believe, sadness, and where we are spiritually. We are certainly free to choose what we will believe, but one day, we will all be in the same place of truth even though we may not foresee it as of yet. The brutal things we do to one another are very heartbreaking, full of sorrow. But forgiveness lets you keep your peace, strength, and power. Enjoy the pleasures of life to balance out the pains we endure. In spite of accepting the truth of what I have asked for, I choose to remain humble and value compassion of all the suffering we encounter in our lives and all over the world. This world certainly needs salvation, and forgiveness will save all of us for forgiveness is the key, and you are the key. Always remember, God willed us back home to Him before we were even born. Heaven is where we come from. Heaven is our home where freedom is limitless and love reigns forever. I send my wishes and desires of forgiveness and love and righteousness from my mind to yours, blessing you with peace, happiness, wellness, salvation, and ultimately, true freedom. In the love of Christ! Amen.

The Book Of Forgiving written by Desmond Tutu and has been published by Harper Collins this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-03-18 with Self-Help categories.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Prize winner, Chair of The Elders, and Chair of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, along with his daughter, the Reverend Mpho Tutu, offer a manual on the art of forgiveness—helping us to realize that we are all capable of healing and transformation. Tutu's role as the Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission taught him much about forgiveness. If you asked anyone what they thought was going to happen to South Africa after apartheid, almost universally it was predicted that the country would be devastated by a comprehensive bloodbath. Yet, instead of revenge and retribution, this new nation chose to tread the difficult path of confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Each of us has a deep need to forgive and to be forgiven. After much reflection on the process of forgiveness, Tutu has seen that there are four important steps to healing: Admitting the wrong and acknowledging the harm; Telling one's story and witnessing the anguish; Asking for forgiveness and granting forgiveness; and renewing or releasing the relationship. Forgiveness is hard work. Sometimes it even feels like an impossible task. But it is only through walking this fourfold path that Tutu says we can free ourselves of the endless and unyielding cycle of pain and retribution. The Book of Forgiving is both a touchstone and a tool, offering Tutu's wise advice and showing the way to experience forgiveness. Ultimately, forgiving is the only means we have to heal ourselves and our aching world.

Christians rejoice in the forgiveness we receive from God, but when we hurt the people we love, how do we go about restoring the relationship? This study guide follows two themes - God's forgiveness of us and our forgiveness of others. As you understand more about God's gracious forgiveness of you, your own capacity to forgive will be expanded and strengthened.
