"This book offers a powerful insight into the topic of 'intrauterine life', a topic which is a culmination of many years of therapeutic work. In this book, Atul Kumar Mehra presents irrefutable evidence straight from the "mouths" and experiences of his clients. Ever since my mother died in 2014, I have been curious to understand how one creates disease in themselves. I now understand that we are responsible for creating and healing our own diseases, and it all originates within the intrauterine life. This is the critical time during which our parents' thoughts and words affect and shape our life experiences. This is the time when we record external information and experience internal emotions related to love or rejection, creating a foundation from which we attract the rest of our life experiences. Atul Kumar suggests that when we go into a relaxed state, we are able to access our unconscious mind and gain a deeper understanding of how we can live our life as a 'whole'. If we grasp the essence of the therapy presented in this book, we could prevent many traumas and problems from taking root, and instead create a life full of joy, health, and meaning. Damaged, But Not Broken A Memoir by LaKeisha Fears-Perez Damaged But Not Broken is a collection of memoirs as told by young people who are heartbroken and who have failed or in some way been affected by negativity. Their recollections are of abandonment, abuse, addictions, and neglect. Their stories prove that the effects of tolerance and how we hold fast to what we see and what we are exposed to varies from individual to individual. The theory of what is perceived early in childhood before the age of five is rooted and embedded in a childs psyche. We set our children up for failure when we subject them to unstable conditions. The environment and what we expose our children to affects how they view themselves and the world around them. A well-rounded balance is essential in a childs life and until they are introduced to religious training, they tend to see us as their god from the moment of birth. Whatever we expose them to is indelibly written in their brains. Children are like little sponges soaking up everything until they come to the age of reasoning at which they begin to understand right from wrong. Unacceptable lifestyles are damaging,an accident waiting to happen for children as well as adults. The emphasis is not so much on where we are in life as it is on what we are doing where we are. What we are doing to our children can cause them to struggle with the worries of this world and not be able to adapt very well. Getting it out of ones system has proven to be liberating, and the number of broken adults who pass hurt onto their children and continue the ongoing destructive dysfunctional cycle is unfortunate. The stories you are about to read are therapeutic. They are a way to get it out for some and just simple acknowledgement for others.

Material Mystery written by Karmen MacKendrick and has been published by Fordham University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-08-17 with Religion categories.

Material Mystery considers three apparently anthropocentric myths that are central to Abrahamic religions—those of the primal human, the incarnated and possibly divine redeemer, and the resurrected body. At first glance, these stories reinforce a human-centered theology and point to a very anthropomorphic God. Taking them seriously seems to ignore the material turn in the humanities entirely, with the same sort of willful ignorance that some of our politicians show in declaring that their myths count as facts, or that the point of the rest of the world is to further human consumption. But it is possible, Karmen MacKendrick shows, to read these figures through a particular tradition that emerges from the Hebrew Bible, the tradition of Wisdom as a creative force. Wisdom texts are common across the ancient Near East. As the idea of creative Wisdom develops from antiquity into the middle ages, it gathers philosophical influences from a range of philosophical traditions. This exuberantly promiscuous impurity—intellectual, artistic, and theological—generates new interpretive possibilities. In these interpretations, each human-like figure opens up onto the world''s matter, as an interdependent part of it, and matter is thoroughly mixed with divinity. Such mythic readings complement our factual, scientific understanding of the material world, to engage wider kinds of knowing and affective attention—particularly Wisdom''s combination of care and delight.

Joy In The New Testament written by William G. Morrice and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-08-20 with Religion categories.

A heavy burden of despair weighed down the world into which Jesus was born. But his advent brought a “conquering, newborn joy” which finds expression in Christian experience and theology. “From beginning to end,” says William Morrice in this book, “the message of the New Testament is one of joy: for it declares the ‘good news’ of the Christian gospel.” Morrice here focuses on the various words used in the New Testament to express the joy that comes from belief in the Good News of Jesus Christ. He shows how the New Testament contains a rich profusion of words reflecting aspects of Christian joy. In addition, he examines the distinctive contribution made by each writer and within each group of New Testament books. “Today,” writes A.M. Hunter in his Foreword, “when we live in a modern world where men’s hearts again fail them for fear of what may be in store for mankind, Dr. Morrice’s book is a rousing recall of that radiant optimism which began with the coming of Christ and which fills the pages of the New Testament.”

Clare S Lyric written by Stephanie Kuduk Weiner and has been published by OUP Oxford this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-04-10 with Poetry categories.

This book considers the lyric poems written by John Clare and three twentieth-century poets—Arthur Symons, Edmund Blunden, and John Ashbery—who turned to him at pivotal moments in their own development. These writers crafted a distinctive mode of lyric, 'Clare's lyric', that emphatically grounds its truth claims in mimetic accuracy. For these writers, accurate representation involves not only words that name objects, describe scenes, and create images pointing to a shared reality but also patterns of sound, the syntactic organization of lines, and the shapes of whole poems and collections of poems. Their works masterfully investigate how poetic language and form can refer to the world, word by word, line by line, and poem by poem. Written in a lively and accessible style, Clare's Lyric sheds light on a richly diverse body of poems and on enduring questions about how literature represents reality. Weiner's attentive close readings bring the writings of Clare, Symons, Blunden, and Ashbery to life by revealing precisely how they captured a vital, arresting, and complex world in their poems. Their unique approach to lyric is traced from Clare's poems about birdsong, his sonnets, and his later poems of loss and absence to Symons's efforts to make 'amends to nature' Blunden's vivid depictions of a European and English countryside scarred by the First World War, and Ashbery's unbounded and bountiful landscapes. This inventive study refines our understanding of the aesthetic of Romanticism, the genre of lyric, and the practice of literary representation, and it makes a compelling case for the ongoing importance of poems about nature and social life.
