We see throughout scripture, particularly in the new testament, that the widow was commended for her faithfulness (Anna), her giving (Widow with the might) and her tenacity (luke 18:1-8). There is a tenacity, a proper perspective on life, things, and an attitude of "nothing else to lose" that can empower a widow that decides to walk in their God ordained season. Even when it looks as if everything has fallen apart, God establishes the border of the widow. God promises to be the judge, jury, and the witness on behalf of the widow. Out of death----there will be life. Widows arise!
