This issue of The Ministry contains a complete record of the six messages given during the 2005 Thanksgiving Weekend Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia, November 24-27, 2005. The general subject of the conference was the Lord's coming. The burden of these messages can be summarized in the following four statements: 1) we need to be purified and reconstituted with the healing Christ in the last days for His coming; 2) if we pay the price to allow the Spirit to saturate our entire being, we are watchful persons, making ourselves ready for the Lord's coming; 3) in order to enter into the joy of the Lord in the coming age of the kingdom, we need to pay the price in this age by losing our soul-life; and 4) all those who are used by God to turn the age must be Nazarites--voluntarily consecrated ones who are sanctified absolutely and ultimately to God. Lastly, we also include two reports: a report concerning the Lord's move in Ethiopia and a report concerning two seminars held in eastern Europe in the countries of Poland and Romania.

This issue of The Ministry of the Word contains the three messages from the Southern California Blending Conference and Messages 4 and 5 from the special conference held in Anaheim, California, respectively, on June 10-11 and February 17-19, 2017. The general subject of the blending conference is "The Vision, Ministry, and Ministers of the Age." In every age there is a particular vision given by God, a specific ministry of that age, and a minister or ministers used by God to fulfill their commission to bear, release, and trumpet the ministry of that age. In every age God gives a particular vision that guards, controls, and governs His people so that they may serve Him according to the vision of that age. The governing vision of the Bible is the Triune God working Himself into His chosen and redeemed people in order to saturate their entire being with the Divine Trinity for the producing and building up of the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem. The vision that the Lord has given to His recovery is an all-inclusive vision--the all-inheriting vision of the age. Our vision extends all the way from Adam's vision of the tree of life in the garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem with the tree of life. The ministry of this age builds up the Body of Christ, which is to build up the New Jerusalem; prepares the bride of Christ, which is to prepare the New Jerusalem because the New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ; and brings in the kingdom of God, the ultimate manifestation and consummation of which is the New Jerusalem. Therefore, the ministry of this age fulfills the direction of the Lord's move today. The ministry of the age ministers the present truth to God's people. The present truth, the highest peak of the divine revelation given to us by God through the ministry of this age, is the revelation of the eternal economy of God. God becoming man so that man might become God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead is the essence of the entire Bible, the "diamond" in the "box" of the Bible, the eternal economy of God. God and man will become one entity, and that one entity is the mingling of divinity with humanity, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem, the conclusion of the entire Bible. The ministers of the age are those who have the vision of the age and the ministry of the age and know what God is speaking and doing in the present age. The ministers of the age are patterns to the believers so that they may be perfected to do the work of the ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ. The ministers of the age have four characteristics: First, they are men who allow their natural ability to be terminated by the cross so that all their ability is in resurrection. Second, they are tree-of-life persons. Third, they know the central work of God. Fourth, they pay more attention to life than to work. The general subject of the special conference is "Special Fellowship concerning the World Situation and the Lord's Move." Messages 4 and 5 of this special conference were spoken in English and therefore are included in this issue. The following statement encapsulates the burden of the conference: The Announcements section at the end of this issue contains a list of upcoming conferences and trainings hosted by Living Stream Ministry and a website link for information related to similar events in Europe.

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991-1992, volume 1, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from January 3 through December 17, 1991. In 1991 and 1992 Brother Lee spoke one hundred sixty-two messages that were published in the Life-study of Job, Life-study of the Psalms, Life-study of Isaiah, Life-study of Jeremiah, Life-study of Lamentations, Life-study of Daniel, Life-study of Hosea, Life-study of Joel, Life-study of Amos, Life-study of Obadiah, Life-study of Jonah, Life-study of Micah, Life-study of Nahum, Life-study of Habakkuk, Life-study of Zephaniah, Life-study of Haggai, Life-study of Zechariah, and Life-study of Malachi. These messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. From January through August 1991, Brother Lee was in Anaheim, California. During that period he visited Los Angeles and Alhambra, California, in April. At the end of August he traveled to Berkeley, California. In early September he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the end of November. During that time he visited Huntington Beach, California. At the end of November Brother Lee traveled to Reston, Virginia, for the Thanksgiving weekend conference. In early December he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into ten sections, as follows: 1. Two messages given in Anaheim, California, on January 3 and 4. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The God-ordained Way and the Eldership. They are included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1989, volume 4, as chapters 9 and 10 of Elders' Training, Book 10: The Eldership and the God-ordained Way (2). Therefore, they are not printed in this volume. 2. Seven messages given to the full-time trainees in Anaheim, California, on February 4 through December 17. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship to the Full-time Trainees in Anaheim. 3. Thirty-one messages given in Anaheim, California, on February 17 through December 15. One message was spoken in Chinese. These messages are included in this volume under the title Various Meetings in Anaheim. 4. Thirteen messages given in Anaheim, California, on February 23 through July 7. These messages were previously published in a book entitled Elders' Training, Book 11: The Eldership and the God-ordained Way (3) and are included in this volume under the same title. Two messages given in Anaheim, California, on July 6 and 7. These messages were previously published in a book entitled Further Consideration of the Eldership, the Region of Work, and the Care for the Body of Christ. They are included in this volume as chapters 12 and 13 in the section entitled Elders' Training, Book 11: The Eldership and the God-ordained Way (3).
