Theaterpädagogik ist eine Teildisziplin der Pädagogik, in der spielpädagogische Elemente zu einem pädagogischen Zweck eingesetzt werden. Es geht um das eigene Erleben und die Interaktion ihrer/seiner selbst mit der Umwelt. Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege stellt hohe Anforderungen an die emotionalen und kommunikativen Fähigkeiten der/des Einzelnen. Diese sind der Schlüssel zum professionellen und empathischen Umgang mit den PatientInnen. Die Ausbildung für Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege hat die Synthese aus pflegerischem Fachwissen, psychomotorischen Fertigkeiten und emotionalen Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit PatientInnen, Angehörigen und dem Team, zum Ziel. Die Methoden der Theaterpädagogik können ein Schlüssel sein, die SchülerInnen zu sensibilisieren, Problemfelder zu erkennen und Lösungsmöglichkeiten im geschützten Rahmen der Schule zu erleben. Affektives Lernen basiert auf Selbsterfahrung und muss weiterentwickelt werden, um die Sicherheit der SchülerInnen im Umgang mit eigenen und fremden Gefühlen zu stärken. Die vorliegende Literaturarbeit stellt eine Grundlagenarbeit zu den Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Theaterpädagogik im Rahmen der Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegeausbildung dar, wobei Methoden, Grenzen und notwendige Rahmenbedingungen abgehandelt werden. Es wird das Anforderungsprofil an LehrerInnen für Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege, die Theaterpädagogik einsetzen möchten, dargelegt. Die Möglichkeiten der Kompetenzentwicklung hin zu einer empathischen Pflege werden zuerst theoretisch und dann exemplarisch am Thema Schmerz erarbeitet. Theaterpädagogik kann bei gezieltem Einsatz affektives Lernen fördern und die SchülerInnen in der Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegeausbildung auf die vielfältigen Aufgaben im Beruf vorbereiten.
