THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! "I had the choice to come back ... or not. I chose to return when I realized that 'heaven' is a state, not a place" In this truly inspirational memoir, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down—overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience where she realized her inherent worth . . . and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks—without a trace of cancer in her body! Within this enhanced e-book, Anita recounts—in words and on video—stories of her childhood in Hong Kong, her challenge to establish her career and find true love, as well as how she eventually ended up in that hospital bed where she defied all medical knowledge. In "Dying to Be Me," Anita Freely shares all she has learned about illness, healing, fear, "being love," and the true magnificence of each and every human being!

"Nineteenth-century Latter-day Saints looked forward to apocalyptic events that would unseat corrupt governments across the globe but would particularly decimate the tyrannical government of the United States. Mormons turned to prophecies of divine deliverance by way of plagues, natural disasters, foreign invasions, American Indian raids, slave uprisings, or civil war unleashed on American cities and American people ... Blythe examines apocalypticism across the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints particularly as it would take shape in localized and personalized forms in the writings and visions of ordinary Latter-day Saints outside of the Church's leadership"--

There Is No Death written by Florence Marryat and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-01-10 with categories.

In 1874, Florence interviewed for a London newspaper a prominent clairvoyant. This marked the beginning of her belief in spiritualism. She participated in countless seances and claimed having communicated with her two dead daughters and her brother who died in a shipwreck. She wrote down her experiences in a highly successful non-fiction book, There Is No Death, and the sequel The Spirit World. Spiritualism also influenced her works of fiction in such novels as The Clairvoyance of Bessie Williams or The Strange Transfiguration of Hannah Stubbs. "Many people have pronounced it to be, not only the most remarkable book that she has ever written, but the most remarkable publication of the time. To the public it is so full of marvels as to appear almost incredible, but to her friends, who know that everything related there happened, under the author's eyes, it is more wonderful still. The amount of correspondence that she has received on the subject ever since the book appeared in June, 1891, is incalculable. This book has done more to convince many people of the truth of Spiritualism than any yet written. Florence Marryat numbers her converts by the hundred and they are all gathered from educated people, men of letters and of science have written to her from every part of the world, and many clergymen have succumbed to her courageous assertions. It is curious and interesting to know that Miss Marryat's experiences are not only those of the past, but that she passes through just as wonderful things every day of her life, and the spirit world is quite as familiar to her as the natural one, and far more interesting. Whether her readers sympathize with her or not, or whether they believe that she really saw and heard all the marvels related in "There Is No Death," the book must remain as a remarkable record of the experiences of a woman whose friends know her to be incapable of telling a lie and especially on a subject which she holds to be sacred. 'I really do not care much,' says Miss Marryat with a smile, 'if my readers believe me or not. If they do not it is their loss, not mine. I have done what I considered to be my duty in trying to convince the world of what I know to be true, and to which I shall continue to testify as long as I have breath.'" -Helen C. How To Get To Heaven Without Really Dying written by Robert Kopecky and has been published by Llewellyn Worldwide this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-03-08 with Body, Mind & Spirit categories.

A Near-Death Survivor's Guide to Living a Joyful Reality in the Here and Now After living through three very different near-death experiences, Robert Kopecky discovered a remarkable fact about life and death: You don't have to die to go to Heaven. This book shows how to engage with a paradise that is always present in your life. It's about learning how to make choices that lead you to a place of happiness and fulfillment—finding the pathways (and a few shortcuts) that will bring you the spiritual awareness and joy that is your birthright. By cultivating perspective, presence, and purpose, you'll discover that going to Heaven is not about moving into a realm of eternal sleep, but about being right where you are—wherever that may be—and waking up. Praise: "Many people have had near-death experiences and have returned with strong messages for the rest of us. Robert Kopecky's reflections are unusually intelligent and presented in a lively mix of humor and seriousness. I had fun reading this book and appreciated Robert's fresh way of offering traditional wisdom."—Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul and Ageless Soul "Helping us to engage with life, these truths will lead us on a transformational journey in finding a life filled with joy while creating Heaven on Earth."—Anita Moorjani, New York Times bestselling author of What If This Is Heaven "Possibly the most insightful book on how to obtain the enlightenment experienced by those who have gone through a NDE, How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying) offers hope and encouragement to experience lasting change."—Marianne Pestana, host of Moments with Marianne "Robert's compassion and selfless service of insight and reflections are a true gift to every reader of this guide to higher consciousness."—Brother Edward Salisbury, DDiv, FD, hospice minister and multiple NDE survivor "Robert Kopecky clearly identifies techniques to help stop our de-evolution of society by remembering our true purpose—to be of service to others."—Linda P. Truax, Board Secretary of the International Association for Near-Death Studies "I appreciate and endorse Robert's key themes, which are presented with engaging and heartfelt first person examples: we if seek peace of mind in this life, we'll find it through acts of kindness, humility, honesty, forgiveness, compassion, and service. These practices are universal, but often expressed in a dogmatic fashion, rather than in the friendly manner found in this book. Perhaps his clarity boils down to the adage, 'Religion is for people who're afraid of going to hell. Spirituality is for those who've already been there.'"—Josh Korda, author and guiding teacher of DharmaPunx NYC "A landscape of love is all around us, and yet mysteriously hidden. Based on his own near-death experiences, Robert Kopecky gives us keys to this landscape. Practicing the simple qualities of kindness, compassion, humility, and service open us to the love, light, and magic of life. Heaven is not 'somewhere else' but a state in which we are reconnected to the Divine Consciousness that is within and all around us. This beautiful book helps us to live in this miraculous realm, awake in its wonder."—Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, PhD, author of Sufism: The Transformation of the Heart

In her final moments of life Betty connected with her daughter on another continent--setting in motion a chain of surprising and unexpected events. At the exact time Betty began suffocating in her hospital bed in Oregon, her daughter Annie began choking at work in England. Somehow distance no longer mattered and as Betty began to die she was reaching across the heavens to say "goodbye" to her youngest child. Seven days later after her death, extraordinary events began to happen. Annie felt her mother trying to comfort her at night. And this was just the beginning.... Empathically sharing in her mother's death had acted as a catalyst. Instantly, Annie's intuitive and psychic abilities dramatically increased, ultimately leading to a complete renewal of her faith. As a non-believer, Annie was completely transformed. She candidly shares her spiritual, paranormal and heavenly encounters, including verifiable after-death communications, seeing an angel, and "talking" with God. Annie's experiences led her on a journey of investigation. She consulted the world's experts on deathbed coincidences, near-death experiences and after-death communications, including: Dr. Penny Sartori, Dr. Pim van Lommel (author of the bestseller Beyond Consciousness), Dr. Peter Fenwick, Barbara Fenwick, Dr. Bruce Greyson, P.M.H. Atwater, and Barbara Whitfield. Talking with these experts confirmed that Annie's after-effects matched those of someone who had "seen the light" and had a near-death experience (NDE)--although it was her mother who actually died.

The Day I Died brings together 10 profoundly moving testimonies from people who have passed through the limits of human endurance and beyond. Around the world, ordinary people go about their daily lives convinced they've had a glimpse into the afterlife. Their eyewitness accounts often share uncanny similarities, and this book does justice to this beguiling subject by analyzing narratives and shedding light on a phenomenon at the crossroads of the medical and the mystical. Tammy Cohen presents several intriguing real-life accounts, including a man who "died" on the operating table and awoke with increased psychic abilities, a victim of domestic abuse who had a life-changing unusual out-of-body experience, plus stories from people who had "drowned" and "died" of heart attacks. Powerful, challenging, and endlessly fascinating, The Day I Died celebrates both pleasurable and distressing near-death experiences.
