The book that has inspired thousands of Reikistas An important part of the thousands attunements that I have performed as a Reiki Master, are due to the reading of this book. Why? Because it exposes, in a clear and honest way, what Reiki is, and what it can and cannot do for you. This is Reiki is also the study manual and the reference book of all my Reiki students. This is the 3rd edition of the book and, although there are many Reiki books, I tell you now the reason for this one. Why another Reiki book? Writing this book, ruled by the teaching of Usui Tibetan Reiki, is a way to honor what the practice and the experience of Reiki have given me during all these years. Reiki has been a great companion in my life and has facilitated me to face different processes of self-knowledge, self-assessment and inner peace, which otherwise I don't know how they would have been possible. Of course I will not repeat what I found in the manuals I received from my teacher, nor will I repeat what has been said in other books on the subject. While a part of the content is inescapable and will be similar in all Reiki books, much of what is presented here is the result of my experience and intuition, a faculty that has been developed remarkably with the experience of Reiki. This book is, essentially, the result of the maturity of my relationship with Reiki. What has allowed me to expand my understanding, thus enriching my perception of what this technique means. I place some emphasis on the energetic aspects of Reiki, to make explicit the energetic unicity of all that exists, and to show how Reiki is inserted and related to the totality. The energetic and spiritual things are not divorced from the material ones, and therefore are susceptible to be analyzed with a kind of reason-intuition that we could well call spiritual logic. This is a very useful resource at times when all our faith references have failed and we feel incredulous. The spiritual logic proposed in this book, allows you to approach Reiki not only as a belief, but also from the higher planes of conscious understanding. This approach to understanding the technique, can make the difference between doing Reiki or not doing it, in those difficult times when everything that is based on faith fails. What I want to say to the Reiki practitioner, is that he does not need to believe in Reiki, because there is a foundation which support that this technique works, beyond belief and devotion.
