Aborda, además, el autor un análisis sobre el desempeño de las funciones técnicas en el ámbito deportivo según las Leyes autonómicas del Deporte y sus respectivas regu-laciones de turismo activo, incluso acometiendo el estudio de las formaciones deportivas que se imparten fuera del sistema reglado, tanto federativas como del ámbito privado de la empresa, así como la formación de las enseñanzas deportivas en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior. Finaliza la obra con una propuesta de mejora sobre la actual legislación y organización del modelo formativo en estas enseñanzas. El autor, Javier J. Feito Blanco, Doctor en Derecho, Licenciado en Educación Física y Graduado en Maestro, compagina su labor como profesor con la de preparador de oposiciones, tras haber sido Asesor Técnico Docente de enseñanzas deportivas y Director en un centro público de formación de técnicos deportivos.
