Climate change is increasingly of great concern to the world community. This book is a pioneering regional work and provides a balanced approach of theory and practice in disaster risk reduction (DRR) in Pakistan. The uptake of ecosystem-based approaches for disaster risk reduction (DRR) is slow, however, despite some success stories.
