“Riflessi del cuore” è una raccolta di 30 poesie aventi tematiche diverse, scaturite da riflessioni e stati d’animo, nell’alternanza delle vicende della vita e nella forza delle parole che le raccontano. Le emozioni e i sentimenti fanno parte della nostra personalità, ma molto spesso la società attuale tende a non farle emergere, privilegiando la ferrea logica del pensiero razionale. Nell’oscillazione tra un bisogno dell’uomo di stabilità e la voglia di liberarsi da schemi formali, emerge il ruolo equilibratore della poesia. La raccolta si apre con Ricordi, A Mia madre, Sveglia di campagna: le emozioni sono capaci di far riaffiorare vecchi ricordi, nascosti nella nostra mente, ma anche pensieri e riflessioni. Alcuni componimenti sono frutto di attività didattiche e sono rivolte principalmente ai bambini, essendo l’autrice un’insegnante di scuola primaria; infatti il riferimento al mondo infantile è predominante in buona parte della raccolta. Le poesie sono scritte maggiormente in versi liberi in sintonia con la spontaneità del manifestarsi delle emozioni, mentre l’uso frequente di similitudini, metafore e personificazioni danno maggiore incisività al messaggio poetico. Amico diverso, Ai miei alunni, Libero, Sognavi appartengono a questa categoria. La contraddizione dei sentimenti e delle emozioni, è un aspetto dell’età adulta. Emozioni quali l’attrazione, il desiderio di uscire dagli schemi imposti dal ruolo sociale, l’ambiguità dei sentimenti, le illusioni e le delusioni, la speranza, la ricerca di una fonte divina, emergono in Al di là della siepe, Veliero, Desideri, Notte, Armonia divina. La ricerca della bellezza che la natura ci offre si colgono in Montagne e in Stelle cadenti. La forza della poesia emerge in tutta la sua libertà e la possibilità di superare i limiti della realtà In Maschere, Fantasie, Vento e in Musica, senza mai perdere, tuttavia, una visione realistica della vita.
