Trata de las organizaciones que incursionan en mercados de exigencia, en los que es común encontrar estándares convertidos en normas que se conocen como certificaciones emitidas por organismos acreditados. Sin embargo, ¿qué hace que con frecuencia las organizaciones opten por formalizar estándares exigidos, sin que los contratos comprometidos se sostengan en el tiempo? El problema resulta de la reflexión sobre lo que los actores estratégicos (aquellos que dirigen el rumbo organizacional) orientan en las organizaciones que han establecido un estándar que se ofrece bajo la promesa de ser la vía hacia la competitividad, para el bien de la sociedad. En el contexto colombiano una gran proporción de los estándares no ha cumplido con lo prometido. La reflexión apunta a establecer si los discursos relacionados con la estandarización están inmersos o no en los postulados de la "idea de progreso moral" y material de la humanidad, postulados que según los pensadores posmodernos han entrado en crisis. Se considera el análisis de los discursos de la estandarización en las organizaciones desde la mirada del proyecto sociocultural de la modernidad occidental, articulado en torno a los conceptos de libertad, igualdad y justicia, y a la idea de progreso de la humanidad como indiscutible; y la reflexión crítica contemporánea, posmoderna, del desplome de esa idea. En este texto se discute ese problema en el marco de la literatura de la "estandarización", en los discursos implícitos en las prácticas de los actores estratégicos en el contexto colombiano.

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un análisis sintáctico y discursivo de las primeras traducciones castellanas de los Colloquia erasmianos con el fin de establecer las características más significativas del discurso dialógico del siglo XVI, un tipo de discurso que encuentra en los Coloquios de Erasmo y en sus traducciones un hito esencial para su desarrollo. El estudio se complementa con algunas cuestiones teóricas imprescindibles en un trabajo de esta índole, como las que se refieren al análisis histórico del discurso, la teoría del diálogo y la teoría de la traducción. Por lo que a esta última respecta, se presta especial atención a la relación que se establece entre el latín y el castellano y a la actitud que los diferentes intérpretes muestran a la hora de traducir los diálogos, habida cuenta de que todavía en esta época pesa el tópico de la inferioridad de la lengua romance frente a las lenguas clásicas.

The Bible and Jews in Medieval Spain examines the grammatical, exegetical, philosophical and mystical interpretations of the Bible that took place in Spain during the medieval period. The Bible was the foundation of Jewish culture in medieval Spain. Following the scientific analysis of Hebrew grammar which emerged in al-Andalus in the ninth and tenth centuries, biblical exegesis broke free of homiletic interpretation and explored the text on grammatical and contextual terms. While some of the earliest commentary was in Arabic, scholars began using Hebrew more regularly during this period. The first complete biblical commentaries in Hebrew were written by Abraham Ibn ‘Ezra, and this set the standard for the generations that followed. This book analyses the approach and unique contributions of these commentaries, moving on to those of later Christian Spain, including the Qimhi family, Nahmanides and his followers and the esoteric-mystical tradition. Major topics in the commentaries are compared and contrasted. Thus, a unified picture of the whole fabric of Hebrew commentary in medieval Spain emerges. In addition, the book describes the many Spanish Jewish biblical manuscripts that have remained and details the history of printed editions and Spanish translations (for Jews and Christians) by medieval Spanish Jews. This book will appeal to scholars and students of medieval Spain, as well as those interested in the history of religion and cultural history.
