Believers need to learn to defend the Christian worldview. In today’s world of varying religions, it’s becoming more important for a Christian to know what they believe and why they believe it. In Transformed Thinking, Tom Wheeler clearly lays out the most fundamental beliefs of Christianity and compares them to other worldviews, providing arguments to support his beliefs. Even though this book is purposed for the classroom setting, it would be a beneficial read for any believer who wants to have a firm foundation on which to share their beliefs with unbelievers. From the beginning of the world to the inerrancy of Scripture, Transformed Thinking will provide you with solid answers for your faith. Advance Praise for Transformed Thinking: "Transformed Thinking is a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge that provides foundational aspects in developing a Christian worldview.” Dr. Brian Fairchild D.Min./ Pastor, Colonial Bible Church, Midland, Texas "This book is a must read for every Christian layperson and leader in the Church." Where does anxiety come from? Where do bad behaviors start? Why does fear take over? We might say these things come from our jobs, financial circumstances, or challenging people. All these things can be stressful, but they are not the cause of stress, anxiety, and fear. So, what is? Our thoughts are the cause. When we encounter a situation, our initial thought drives everything. That thought leads to an emotion. The emotion leads to a behavior or action. The behavior or action affects relationships. Then we have the result. The result stems from that first thought. Attempting to change your behavior would be impossible without changing your thoughts. You might change for a week or two, but if you don’t change your thought processes, that behavior will come back. In my years as a therapist, I have walked many people through this transformational process into real life-change. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Rethink focuses on replacing harmful mindsets that promote negative emotions like depression, anxiety, fear, and self-loathing with God’s truth. Toxic mindsets fuel negative emotions and produce destructive behaviors. We cannot be truly free of toxicity until we transform our thinking.

Leading Scholar Explores Paul's Teaching on the Mind This major work by a leading New Testament scholar explores an important but neglected area of Pauline theology, Paul's teaching about the mind. In discussing matters such as the corrupted mind, the mind of Christ, and the renewal of the mind, Paul adapts language from popular intellectual thought in his day, but he does so in a way distinctively focused on Christ and Christ's role in the believer's transformation. Keener enables readers to understand this thought world so they can interpret Paul's language for contemporary Christian life. The book helps overcome a false separation between following the Spirit and using human judgment and provides a new foundation for relating biblical studies and Christian counseling.

In Transformed Thinking: Loving God With All Your Mind, Dr. Edward M. Curtis argues that every believer needs to take seriously Paul's exhortation in Romans 12 and avoid assimilating from our world and culture values that are contrary to God's truth revealed in Scripture. At the same time Curtis maintains that human perception and the human mind are wonderful gifts from God that he expects us to use to the full. There are significant truths to be learned from the study of our world and through human experience. It is only as we integrate the knowledge available to us through both general and special revelation that we can transform our thinking by loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and truly glorify his name.
