ROAD MAP TO SUCCESS True Success by Choice Not By Chance gives a road map which clearly shows the potential for any one to succeed in life whether they came from Tupelo, Mississippi or was born on Wall Street. This book is about Ernie Tucker who applied the laws of success and has lived a charmed life by following the principles of having faith, repetition, imagination and above all persistence. He says "success has no room for excuses - it is all up to you." It is a choice one makes not a chance one takes, because chances is gambling and depends on the roll of the dice. It shows you that if you have a clearly defined objective and are willing to make the necessary sacrifices, in the long run your dream will become your reality. The book entails what he had faced, handled and triumphed over to become the success that he is. It is his dream to leave a legacy to the coming generations of whomsoever wishes to succeed be it family, friend or stranger. Embedded in the pages are elements of the will, wit and determination it took to get him there. It says that success is accessible but it is all up to you. To embrace the principles that took him there, you must follow his proven method for success. It shows you that success is a constant pursuit not an overnight affair. It is in fact for Ernie a true fulfillment of Dr. Martin Luther King's dream that black men and white men could work together in unity. Since success is not a respecter of persons. When Ernie's principles of faith are enacted, regardless of your color

In Excuses Begone! Dr. Wayne W. Dyer reveals how to change lifelong, self-defeating thinking patterns that prevent you from living at the highest levels of success, happiness, and health. You may know what to think but find it terribly difficult to change thinking habits that have been with you since childhood. This business of changing habituated thinking patterns is really the business of eliminating the same old tired excuses. People are forever using excuses and defending those excuse patterns as if they were actually true. Such statements as It would be very difficult for me to change . . . If I changed, it would create family dramas . . . I’m too old or too young to change . . . I’ve always been this way . . . It’s in my DNA so I can’t change . . . I can’t afford the things I truly want and I’ve always been this way are all excuses that are used regularly without challenging the truth of these thinking habits. When you eliminate excuses that explain your shortcomings or failures, you’ll awaken to your infinite possibilities. Removing the excuses involves examining these thinking habits under a new and truthful light. In this groundbreaking work, Wayne presents a compendium of conscious and subconscious excuses employed by virtually everyone, along with a new paradigm that guides you to put those excuses to rest once and for all. You’ll learn to apply specific questions to any excuse, and then proceed through the steps of the Excuses Begone! paradigm. The old habituated ways of thinking will melt away as you experience the joy of releasing excuses and the absurdity of hanging on to them. There are no excuses worth defending ever, even if they’ve always been part of your life. This book represents Wayne’s effort to help anyone whose self-defeating thoughts are persistently present, learn how to discard those old thinking habits, and discover the infinite possibilities of life!

Mechanical Choices written by Michael S. Moore and has been published by Oxford University Press, USA this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-05-08 with Law categories.

Mechanical Choices details the intimate connection that exists between morality and law: the morality we use to blame others for their misdeeds and the criminal law that punishes them for these misdeeds. This book shows how both law and morality presuppose the accuracy of common sense, a centuries-old psychology that defines people as rational agents who make honorable choices and act for just reasons. It then shows how neuroscience is commonly taken to challenge these fundamental psychological assumptions. Such challenges--four in number--are distinguished from each other by the different neuroscientific facts from which they arise: the fact that human choices are caused by brain events; the fact that those choices don't cause the actions that are their objects but are only epiphenomenal to those choices; the fact that those choices are identical to certain physical events in the brain; and the fact that human subjects are quite fallible in their knowledge of what they are doing and why. The body of this book shows how such challenges are either based on faulty facts or misconceived as to the relevance of such facts to responsibility. The book ends with a detailed examination of the neuroscience of addiction, an examination which illustrates how neuroscience can help rather than challenge both law and morality in their quest to accurately define excuses from responsibility.
