Pharaoh took his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand. He clothed him in fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck. He made him to ride in the second chariot which he had. So Joseph was lord over all the land of Egypt. Now, there was in Egypt more food than the people could eat, for the years were plentiful years. But Joseph knew that years of famine would come when the grain would not grow. So he gathered the food of the field, and laid it up in the cities.
