Saúde é um direito fundamental e reconhecido por todos os foros mundiais. A Organização Mundial da Saúde a define como o estado de completo bem-estar físico, mental e social, não apenas ausência de doença ou enfermidade (WHO, 2004). Este conceito embora discutido, considera que o ser humano deve ser visto de forma holística, considerando o todo, com suas particularidades e inter-relações. Fatores como, a biologia humana, o ambiente social, econômico e fisico e o comportamento ou estilo de vida são conhecidos como determinantes da saúde. Estes, afetam de forma combinada, a saúde individual e de comunidades (WHO, 2004). Há consenso na compreensão de que a saúde é o maior e melhor recurso para o desenvolvimento humano, e uma das mais importantes dimensões da qualidade de vida. Reflete sensação de felicidade, satisfação com a vida e com o ambiente que se está inserido. Envolve também todos os aspectos da vida, incluindo saúde, recreação, cultura, direitos, valores, crenças, aspirações e condições que sejam capazes de sustentar todos esses fatores. A percepção pessoal da saúde física e mental com habilidade de reação a fatores referentes ao ambiente físico e social, reflete qualidade de vida relacionada a saúde (WHO, 2000). A saúde melhora a qualidade de vida e esta, por sua vez, é fundamental na promoção da saúde, demonstrando a correlação entre elas. O modo de viver de um indivíduo, tem demonstrado ser de grande importância na sua qualidade de vida e estado de saúde e por isso tem sido tema frequente de estudos epidemiológicos. Estilo de vida é entendido como o conjunto de hábitos e costumes que são influenciados, modificados, encorajados ou inibidos pelo prolongado processo de socialização (WHO, 2000; WHO, 2004). Assim, um estilo de vida saudável está relacionado a promoção da saúde que por sua vez promove qualidade de vida.

This book is recommended to psychoanalysts and therapists interested in the analytical technique, and particularly that work with patients who have deficits in their symbolization capacity. It presents studies of technical aspects of the analytical process with patients who are difficult to reach. Collusions named 'chronic enactments' show that the analytic dyad cannot dream and the analytical field is paralyzed without the analyst perceiving it. Chronic enactments are undone through unconscious acts or behaviours that threaten to destroy the analytical process: behaviours that are named 'acute enactments'. The thorough study of these enactments show that they take the dyad to an awareness of the discrimination between self and object and re-establish the capacity to dream. It is demonstrated that this occurs in an attenuated traumatic form, revealing in the analytical field the externalization of primitive non-dreamed traumas. Clinical, artistic, and mythical models are part of the discussion. The emphasis on clinical aspects allows readers to use different theories to consider the clinical facts. The clinical theories used by the author are mostly post-Kleinian and Bionian.
