Credo che la vita non sia il non plus ultra del concetto stesso di Naturalezza. La nascita lo è. La vita, invece, è qualcosa di completamente diverso. É un ossimoro continuo, un paradosso cavalcante in continua metamorfosi, un forsennato e sferragliante divenire lungo i binari dello spazio e di un tempo incolore, insapore. Quasi intangibile. Questo libro cerca di racchiudere, in una manciata di risate, lacrime e colpi di tosse sbaffati d'inchiostro, il sinistro meccanismo di lettura, parzialmente decriptato, di quel nostro continuo vagare, inciampare e boccheggiare verso qualcosa di fioco e baluginante nelle tenebre. Quella corsa disperata, nell'illusione di allontanare o addirittura seminare il più irriducibile dei creditori. Il Tristo Mietitore. Sono versi scuri, vergini e sporchi. Figli dell'asfalto e di un pellegrinaggio che non ha inizio né fine. Ho visto l'insensatezza della speranza e la crocifissione della morale, tra i marciapiedi e le stelle, rotolando per gli innumerevoli angoli del Mondo e sgattaiolando fuori dalla gabbia del circo di una società con un codice a barre. Queste poesie parlano di perdizione, paure, incubi e sesso. Delle recondite forze della natura e della solitudine. E di un continuo viaggiare attraverso i labirinti invisibili della Galassia e del nostro intelletto, un universo dietro l'angolo, costellato di personaggi che raramente si incontrano nell'arco di una vita. É un'odissea senza destinazione, dalla quale i protagonisti non vogliono evadere, e alla fine, maceri e felici, passano le ore ad ululare alla luna, sospesi in un turbinio di polvere e sabbia, procedendo a gattoni dietro il grande sipario della notte... Il mondo di cui parlo è un affresco grottesco e coloratissimo, tetro e fluorescente, figlio della Primavera e della sregolatezza. Qui lo spettacolo della natura si sposa con il consumismo e la globalizzazione, e, filtrato dalla propaganda e il caleidoscopio delle distrazioni di massa, forse, le nostre pupille stanche vedranno che in fondo, anche il più romantico dei satelliti, quello che ci volteggia intorno dall'alba dei tempi, braccato da pesanti nuvoloni rossicci carichi di monossido di carbonio, sembra ridursi all'ennesimo quarto di libbra che sguazza in un acquitrino di BBQ sauce.
