En las Escrituras encontramos los patrones para todas las partes del car?cter, no s?lo para sus elementos grandes y prominentes, sino tambi?n para sus rasgos m?s diminutos, las delicadas l?neas y matices de su ornamentaci?n. Los mandamientos, las bienaventuranzas, todos los preceptos de Cristo, las ense?anzas ?ticas de los ap?stoles, nos muestran el modelo seg?n el cual debemos modelar nuestro car?cter. Es una gran cosa para nosotros tener un pensamiento elevado de la vida, y buscar siempre alcanzarlo. Dec?a Miguel ?ngel: "Nada hace al alma tan pura, tan religiosa, como el esfuerzo por crear algo perfecto; porque Dios es la perfecci?n, y quien se esfuerza por ella, se esfuerza por algo que es semejante a Dios". La b?squeda misma nos hace m?s nobles, m?s santos, m?s puros, m?s fuertes. Crecemos siempre hacia aquello que anhelamos. Muchas b?squedas no se ven recompensadas. Los hombres buscan el oro y no lo encuentran. Tratan de alcanzar la felicidad, pero la visi?n se aleja cada vez m?s a medida que avanzan hacia ella. La b?squeda de la verdadera nobleza, es una que es recompensada. "Bienaventurados los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia, porque ser?n saciados", es la propia palabra de nuestro Se?or. Anhelar el bien espiritual nunca ser? en vano. Y el anhelo incesante, con la b?squeda sincera del bien, eleva la vida a la realizaci?n permanente de lo que se busca persistentemente.
