Without God, we will perish. America has forgotten how much God loves this land and us. Now is the time for America to wake up. The church needs to wake up and check their lamps. We need to refill our lamps. God is looking for a true church and a true altar. America, we need to remember where we came from. If we continually ignore the truth, the judgment of God will come to wake us up. Wake up, oh America, wake up! Commentary on the Book of Hosea

Why should you care about Israel? With the war in Iraq, possible engagement in Iran, and an imminent presidential election, U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and the issue of solidarity with Israel remain important. In Two Nations Under God, American missionary Tom Doyle presents even greater reasons why the U.S. should show concern for Israel. Part one, “Why Should America Care?” is a biblical and historical primer on Israel with fascinating insights into connections between American and Middle East culture. Part two, “Sorting Out the Middle East Maze,” presents more facts about Islam and the spiritual roots behind the Middle East conflicts. Part three, “Maximizing the Moment,” is a call to action and prayer for the A merican church regarding the future of Israel. Best of all, readers will learn throughout that, despite the headlines, there is plenty of good news coming from the Middle East. Doyle reports on the increasing number of Muslims converting to Christianity, profiles local disciples and church planters, and provides helpful timelines, comparison charts, photographs, and more to keep every detail concerning Israel in perspective. Endorsements: "Chaos. Carnage. Confusion. For many, that’s the modern Middle East. But Tom Doyle gets it. Better yet, he can really explain it. With a pastor’s heart, he clearly and concisely describes why God loves the Jews of Israel and her Muslim neighbors, and why we should, too. What’s more, Tom reveals how powerfully God is moving in the modern Middle East, and how we can join Him. Two Nations under God is a must read—fascinating, insightful, and deeply thought-provoking. Get one for yourself, and another for your pastor." Joel C. Rosenberg, New York Times best-selling author of Epicenter: Why the Current Rumblings in the Middle East Will Change Your Future

“This is a series of stories of what it looks like to walk with God, over the course of about a year.” So begins a remarkable narrative of one man’s journey learning to hear the voice of God. The details are intimate and personal. The invitation is for us all. What if we could hear from God . . . often? What difference would it make? We have a lot to sort through on any given day. A whole lot to navigate over the course of a week or a month. Am I in the right place? The right relationships? How am I going to come up with enough money to do the things I want to do? And what about love—is this the one? Will it last? What is causing all those fears I keep pushing down inside? Why can’t I overcome those “habits” that look more and more like addictions? Am I at the right church? Should I even go to church? What is God doing in my life? All day long we are making choices. It adds up to an enormous amount of decisions in a lifetime. How do we know what to do? We have two options. We can trudge through on our own, doing our best to figure it all out. Or, we can walk with God. As in, learn to hear his voice. Really. We can live life with God. He offers to speak to us and guide us. Every day. It is an incredible offer. To accept that offer is to enter into an adventure filled with joy and risk, transformation and breakthrough. And more clarity than we ever thought possible.

One Kingdom Under God written by Tony Evans and has been published by Moody Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-07-15 with Religion categories.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you belong to a kingdom. You belong to a King. His name is Jesus. Understanding what a kingdom is and how it runs is essential to living a victorious Christian life. Sadly, many believers are still operating under the rule and authority of the kingdom of this world, which Satan dominates. In One Kingdom Under God, Dr. Tony Evans boldly declares the kingdom agenda as he explains the four basic covenantal spheres through which God’s kingdom operates: personal, familial, church, and societal. He shows that from beginning to end, the Bible—God’s rulebook for life—is focused on one thing: God’s glory through advancing His kingdom. It reveals the absolute standard to which all other standards must bow. It’s time for us to reclaim our allegiance under the rule and reign of God’s dominion by aligning our lives with His Word and His ways. * This book is a part of the Life Under God series, a 5-book series adapted from the 5 sections found in The Kingdom Agenda, the legacy work of Dr. Tony Evans.

Mohammad Amin Sheikho. Birth: 1890 A.D. Death: 1964 A.D. Precept: Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an. Early Years Scholar Sheikho was born in al-Ward district in Sarouja Quarter, one of the historical districts of Damascus, in Syria which was called mini-Istanbul during the period of the Ottoman rule. He was raised in an Arab style house situated opposite the famous public al-Ward Bathhouse. This house stands there to the present day. Scholar Sheikho was still young when his father, the merchant Ismael Sheikho, departed this world. Mohammad Saleem, the only and elder brother of Mohammad Amin, was assigned as a director of the Military School during the Ottoman rule. Education At the age of twelve the boy who was to become the great scholar was enrolled at al-Rashidiya School, he then went on to complete his studies in Amber, the Royal Ottoman Faculty in Damascus. He received many certificates of praise and commendation during the Ottoman rule and then under the reign of King Faisal in Syria. There are many copies of these certificates still preserved in trustworthy hands. One of His Pupils Professor A. K. John, alias al-Dayrani is the best known and most distinguished among the pupils of Scholar Sheikho. He received a certificate of General Education (a Syrian certificate which included the study of nine different sciences). Prof. al-Dayrani collected and verified more than fifty books which were dictated by Scholar Sheikho and written on his behalf. Therefore his name is always mentioned in association with the name of Mohammad Amin Sheikho. A Glimpse of his distinguished thoughts and views He disclosed the true meaning of the letters (acronyms) that are reported at the beginning of the Fortresses of the Holy Qur’an, which was not understood by previous Muslim scholars and said that, “Al’lah knows best His Purpose behind them.” He disproved the stories which are ascribed wrongly to the noble Envoy Mohammad (cpth), such as the story of his being affected by the action of magic, the story of cutting his noble chest (cpth), and all that would put him (cpth) in the wrong. He elucidated that the noble Prophets are impeccable in all of their words, actions and deeds. - He was the first in the world to reveal the source of fresh spring and river water, which is the ice of the North and South Poles. - He gave an exact definition of the ‘human spirit’ and clarified the difference between that and the ‘soul’. - He differentiated between the ‘mind’ and ‘thought’ - He talked about al-Azal world, the very beginning of creation in the world of immaterial spirits, and demonstrated the Godly Justice in that world and the reason for the coming of mankind to this world. - He elucidated the wisdom in turning towards al-ka’ba when communicating with God (praying); he explained the reason for fasting and the meaning of the Night of al-Qadr (Evaluation) and how to attain it. - He interpreted from the noble Qur’an how to derive the proportion of Zakat (almsgiving).

Two elements are vital in preaching a sermon: the correct blending of the sermon and the actual act of preaching. Gospel sermons must be prepared to meet all the needs of humankind. We should explain our sermons so that the audience could understand. We should use strong verbs and short sentences. To enjoy the fullness of Gods blessings of protection, deliverance, and security, the people of God need to digest divine sermons. The sooner we understand that God is the one who has the final authority over all, the better off we will be. Avoid wasting a lot of energy worrying about things that are already under his control. God is still at work. Mankind should seek every opportunity to be converted. The term conversion refers to the human response to the gospel. Conversion requires the commitment of the total personality, intellect, emotion, and will. This is how people respond to the message of the gospel when they understand the nature of Christs atonement. They feel the guilt of conviction, love God, and surrender their wills to the offer of salvation. Satans forces of darkness are highly structured for the most destructive purposes. Therefore sermons with spiritual strength and courage are needed for our spiritual warfare. If you want to win the struggle against sin, depression, evil thoughts, immoral behavior, and demonic bondage, then submit to divine sermons. If we are not listening to divine sermons, we will drift off Gods pathway and be controlled by the old nature and its appetites.
