I wrote a long WhatsApp message to my twin flame explaining why I had to block him out of my life. I shocked him because he thought everything was flowing smoothly with us. I also hurt his feelings in the process of running from him. My reaction to our connection surprised both of us. I was also in a daze, I acted from a place of fear and insecurities. Deep down I expected my twin flame to beg me to stay so that we could sort it all out. I hurt him instead. His big ego wouldn't let him accept defeat. He said; “Fine maybe it's best if we don't talk to each other since you are still married.” I said; “FINE!” in response. Both our egos were at war with each other. Before I blocked him, I said; “Goodbye Forever then! I unfollowed you on Instagram.” Such childish games. We both were naive about the twin flame experience. We didn't know what we had stumbled on. Our lives changed forever alchemically. We have popped back into each other's lives for the past six years. We keep tabs on each other. We send brief information through mutual friends and written notes. We flip-flop from running to chasing. It is already enough for me to know that no matter who my twin flame is with, I am loved unconditionally. I know it. I feel it. My twin flame lives inside me. I am in a Spiritual Union with my twin flame. We are connected right at the Source of what is. Running and Chasing is a matter of perspective — each twin flame has a unique share of the twin flame journey. Each one has roles to play in the advancement of their growth processes. From the lessons I learned during the running and chasing phase, a chasing a twin flame feels they are running from themselves as much as the runner. You feel unexplained fears within that you feel too weak to confront your demons. You also know that deep down, your suffering is triggered because you have certain parts of yourself that you believe are undesirable. When you have deep core wounding and suffering, you assume your twin flame will fix you. You also think your twin flame is the cause of your pain. So, your runner twin flame shows his or her running traits physically by blocking you and doing all the runner shenanigans. Yet, on the other hand, the chaser twin flame does the same energetically. In essence, realize you are ebb and flow with your twin flame partner. You operate as a single energetic unit. You are each other — therefore running and chasing are only labels to describe how you feel. Emotional desolation: Life is more challenging and complicated when you have no idea what is happening to you. You don't know how to express your feelings -- you are not used to feeling vulnerable. A Twin Flame runner struggles with expressing his or her feelings. It is better to run than stay in a very uncomfortable situation since your twin flame disarms you.
