Abstract: Nordens unge ser pornografi. Hvordan bruger unge pornografien i deres hverdagsliv? Indvirker pornografien på de unges kønsforståelser? Forskningsprojektet Unge, køn og pornografi i Norden (2004-2006)har undersøgt pornografiens udbredelse og nye kulturelle status. Projektet omfatter i alt 9 studier omkring unges holdninger til og erfaringer med pornografi. Undersøgelserne omfatter kvalitative interviews med unge, indholdsanalyser af ungdomsmedier og kvantitative data om forbrugsmønstre og holdninger til pornografi. Projektet er gennemført af Nordisk institut for kvinde- og kønsforskning (NIKK) på initiativ af Nordisk Ministerråd. Centrale kønsforskere fra hele Norden har bidraget til undersøgelserne, som dækker alle de nordiske lande. I denne bog præsenteres forskningsrapporter fra projektets kvalitative studier. Blandt temaerne som belyses er pornografiens betydning for unges køns- og identitetskonstruktioner, og for deres syn på sig selv og egen seksualitet. Bogen indeholder også en situationsrapport fra Færøerne om unges forhold til pornografi og seksualitet. Studierne som refereres er gennemført i Sverige, Danmark, Norge og Færøerne

Engaging Youth in Activism, Research and Pedagogical Praxis: Transnational and Intersectional Perspectives on Gender, Sex, and Race offers critical perspectives on contemporary research and practice directed at young people across the global north and south. Facilitated by developments in technologies, the non-consensual posting of sexually explicit images of someone else for revenge, entertainment or political motive – so-called revenge porn – has become a global phenomenon. This groundbreaking book argues that fundamental and recurring issues about how victims are violated can be understood in terms of gender and sexual dynamics and constructions, binary gender and sexual positioning and logics, and the use of sexual meanings.
