Life can be compared to a waterfall. A waterfall beats down forcefully on everything beneath it. Beyond the waterfall is a meandering river with challenges and unknown dangers. They pull others into the pounding water with them. The demons that torture them do not want them to discover either the meandering river or the peaceful place behind the waterfall. They lie to them and deceive them into believing that they must fight the waterfall to be counted holy.
