My years writing in foreign countries had been my life until I quit. When I landed at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, Mary Saint-Baptiste from The Picayune had a job for me. I really had nothing else to do and so I figured what the hell. The clich says truth is stranger than fiction; but when I returned to the States, it seemed like fiction had become truth. I got curious as to whose truth had become the truth. Having knuckled under to political pressure, the press was too busy entertaining to argue for truth. The media was in a love/hate relationship with the public that definitely accentuated the hate. The relationship had spawned a story when people started turning up dead. So my search for truth became a murder mystery. It seemed two Christian ministers, who hated each other, had banned together to attack common enemies. To cover their actions, they had enlisted the help of an Arab/Haitian restaurateur they felt they could use as a scapegoat if things went wrong. When federal officials arrested the restaurateur as an illegal alien and possible terrorist, the media, now a tool of whoever paid for their services, came to her aid. When the restaurateur became a media darling, the ministers plan began to go wrong.

This book is a general introduction to advocacy for change that many sectors of the United States of America want to see. It aims to support such a call by providing essential information based on real facts and events; the truth of which, no one can deny. I have always tried to make this book echo reality in a way that makes people aware of the need to abolish racism, xenophobia and the air of the ethnic cleansing trend. It also wants to tell the rulers that the narcissistic feeling and the uncontrollable ego of some people in power are capable of destroying the moral infrastructure of society. The particular audience for this book is anyone who can read and listen to the truth. I believe that this book can also be used in seminars and in college as well as by people who inform themselves on the social problems facing the country. Before going any further, I would like to clarify what this book is not. It is not a document which mainly focuses on the negative aspect of the social, economic and political reality of the country, either generally or chapter by chapter. Nor is it an attempt to change people's political ideologies or to impose a point of view, as that would usurp the call for tolerance, appreciation and respect that constitutes the essence of this book. It is, well, also not a document which tries to destroy the reputation and the worth of a politician, but as a keen observer, I describe the way things evolve in the society, I published this book to protect the moral of social philosophy. This book can be positively seen as a source of ideas and inspiration for surviving systemic racism. I want to recognize the legitimacy of these uses; I take these aspects into account as I write it. It should be used as a tool for peaceful purposes and for denouncing structural racism, xenophobia and injustice - as it is - a fascinating document which calls for racial tolerance, respect for human rights, and freedom. This book has a logical order; I can easily say you can read it in that order. Each chapter is like a preamble to the next. This reading is going to be easy, fascinating and straightforward. I can assure anyone who finishes reading this book that they will understand why the title is "United Hates of America", why it was written as is, and what was the motivation behind its production. It should be noted that the title of this book is neither a mockery nor a lack of respect to the proper name of the country the United States of America. Destroying the soul of the United States of America is not a good thing.Oh yes, the first citizen of a nation must show decency as an important aspect of his character. No, it is not a bad thing if racist behavior is severely punished by law.A minimum of moral values is needed in a president.Life is not just about having the economic power to take advantage of the system, but seeing the greater good of a great nation is collectively more welcoming.Doing your best to help others is better than calling them low-life individuals. ***The best way to preside over your constituents is to be compassionate. Remember, greatest men always accept their responsibilities. Unilateral or one-sided governance mainly leads to disaster, however long it takes.Mostly, a movement that socially calls for an end to black hatred, racism and oppression is sacred.Proper ethical behavior is not a weakness, so separating immigrant children from their families is cruelty. The best thing about this book is the fact that it contains aspects of personal development on many levels, like the following: Development of the culture of survival by adapting to extremely difficult situationsConfidence and assertivenessManagement of psychological emotions Intellectual development Social development Mental equilibriumWorld of work Denunciation of racism Positive mindset in the face of discrimination Advocacy for change towards a better society

"The American flag stands for hatred, warmongering, and imperialism." "Our free-market system is responsible for killing and oppressing millions of people." "This country breeds racists and sexists." Is America really that bad? It is if you accept the lies and propaganda from the anti-American Left in our own country. This dismal, distorted view of the greatest, freest nation in history comes from a Left who would rather idolize Ho Chi Minh and Fidel Castro than honor George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who burn down businesses and destroy property to protest free markets, and who fight alongside radical terrorists rather than against them. They trample the Constitution while hiding behind the First Amendment, and their idea of displaying the American flag is setting it on fire and parading it through the streets. Yes, this is a Left comprised of people who truly hate their country, and they will stop at nothing to tear her down—smashing our liberty in the process. Why the Left Hates America punches a hole right through the thin veneer of political correctness that has long protected these anti-Americans—exposing their rotting, vacuous core. Author and commentator Daniel J. Flynn digs deep into the American Left and reveals why they blame every bad deed in the world on the United States, while ignoring her myriad contributions. This book cogently points out that, of course, all Americans have the right to speak their minds. But, all too often, the actions by the anti-American Left become destructive and anarchistic. You need not look any further than the explosive 1999 World Trade Organization "protests" in Seattle, campus book burnings, or even John Walker Lindh to see that factions on the Left are the worst perpetrators of anti-Americanism. And what may be most shocking is that many of these anti-Americans are at the same time teachers, professors, journalists, news reporters, and even judges and politicians. Probing and controversial—without devolving into jingoism—this book proves once and for all that what you see in the news and learn in school is often tainted by the anti-American Left, and it shows you what you can do to keep them at bay.

The controversial bestseller that caused huge waves in the UK! The Independent calls it "required reading." Noam Chomsky says it "contains valuable information that we should know, over here, for our own good, and the world’s." We call it our biggest book so far and will be backing it from day one with guaranteed co-op spending, a national publicity and review blitz, talk radio bookings, various retail sales aids including postcards, and of course the usual full court press on the Web and via email. This is NOT just another 9/11 book: it is the book for those of us trying to understand why America—and Americans—are targets for hate. Many people do hate America, in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, as well as in the Middle East. Ziauddin Sardar and Merryl Wyn Davies explore the global impact of America’s foreign policy and its corporate and cultural power, placing this unprecedented dominance in the context of America’s own perception of itself. In doing so, they consider TV and the Hollywood machine as a mirror which reflects both the American Dream and the American Nightmare. Their analysis provides an important contribution to a debate which needs to be addressed by people of all nations, cultures, religions and political persuasions—and especially by Americans.Described by The Times Higher Education Supplement as "packed with tightly argued points," the book is carefully researched and built to withstand the inevitable criticism that will be aimed at it. A book that some reviewers will love to hate and others will praise for its insights, it’s guaranteed to cause a stir.

“Amid the ugly realities of contemporary America, American Hate affirms our courage and inspiration, opening a roadmap to reconciliation by means of the victims' own words.” —NPR Books “The collection offers possible solutions for how people, on their own or working with others, can confront hate.” —San Francisco Chronicle An NPR Best Book of 2018 A San Francisco Chronicle Books Pick One of Bitch Media's “13 Books Feminists Should Read in August” One of Paste Magazine's “The 10 Best Books of August 2018” A moving and timely collection of testimonials from people impacted by hate before and after the 2016 presidential election In American Hate: Survivors Speak Out, Arjun Singh Sethi, a community activist and civil rights lawyer, chronicles the stories of individuals affected by hate. In a series of powerful, unfiltered testimonials, survivors tell their stories in their own words and describe how the bigoted rhetoric and policies of the Trump administration have intensified bullying, discrimination, and even violence toward them and their communities. We hear from the family of Khalid Jabara, who was murdered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in August 2016 by a man who had previously harassed and threatened them because they were Arab American. Sethi brings us the story of Jeanette Vizguerra, an undocumented mother of four who took sanctuary in a Denver church in February 2017 because she feared deportation under Trump's cruel immigration enforcement regime. Sethi interviews Taylor Dumpson, a young black woman who was elected student body president at American University only to find nooses hanging across campus on her first day in office. We hear from many more people impacted by the Trump administration, including Native, black, Arab, Latinx, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, undocumented, refugee, transgender, queer, and people with disabilities. A necessary book for these times, American Hate explores this tragic moment in U.S. history by empowering survivors whose voices white supremacists and right-wing populist movements have tried to silence. It also provides ideas and practices for resistance that all of us can take to combat hate both now and in the future.

United in Hate analyzes the Left's contemporary romance with militant Islam as a continuation of the Left's love affair with communist totalitarianism in the twentieth century. Just as the Left was drawn to the communist killing machines of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro, so too it is now attracted to radical Islam. Both the radical Left and radical Islam possess a profound hatred for Western culture, for a capitalist economic structure that recognizes individual achievement and for the Judeo-Christian heritage of the United States. Both seek to establish a new world order: leftists in the form of a classless communist society and Islamists in the form of a caliphate ruled by Sharia law. To achieve these goals, both are willing to wipe the slate clean by means of limitless carnage, with the ultimate goal of erecting their utopia upon the ruins of the system they have destroyed.
