M 24 34. He was the friend and the affiltant of his brother, and as being more happily gifted with the powers of eloquence, he attended him in all his interviews with Pharaoh in Egypt, And in his conferences with the people oflfrael. Though he offended God by making a'calf of gold, as the reprefentative of the divinity, he was permitted to become the firl't high prieft.
