The Unveiling recounts my personal journey of truth and grace into a deeper knowledge of the person of Christ. I openly and honestly share tragic and devastating experiences and how the Father's wisdom and providence worked in and through them to reveal His true nature, character, and heart of love toward me and the reality of the Christ within. At the revelation of His amazing grace and unconditional love, I was able to see the truth about my personal worth and value. Christ is the mystery hidden in God before the ages and the preeminent, central person and constant focus of our Christian faith. The book presents a gospel of good news, grace, and celebration and the triune God as the greatest romantic of the ages (Colossians 1:20, Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 2:9-10). God is a happy Father who takes great pleasure in loving His children and is resting on the finished, complete, and triumphant work of His Son. Come journey with me through the pages of this book, and have a glimpse at the divine romance and union of love that existed between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in eternity past, and you will understand your true origin and identity. This revelation will awaken you to His unchanging love and the splendor, majesty, creativity, and beauty of your eternal being, and it will empower you to walk in your God-given destiny as a child of God.

We Evangelicals struggle with mysteries. Answers are sought, meanings defined, and theology put in nice, neat boxes for clarification, or simply to justify our denominational notions. As Augustine notes, we are talking about God, after all. Why is it surprising that we do not understand? If we did understand, then it would not be God. Mysteries remind us that God is bigger than our preconceived ideas about his involvement with those created in his image. Divine Mysteries: Concise and Thoughtful Ancient Biblical Wisdom addresses some of these mysteries in a provocative and succinct manner.

There appears to be a hierarchy of cultures with the West perceiving the East as inferior, so much so that it is referred to simply as 'the Other'. Because today's world is globally interdependent, inter-woven, and integrative, it is pertinent to be open to the cultural, spiritual, and religious understandings of the East

Social Healing draws on a transdisciplinary approach—bringing sociology, philosophy, psychology, and spirituality together—to understand health, social suffering and healing in our contemporary world. It shows how we can transform the present discourse and reality of social suffering by multi-dimensional movements of social healing. The author argues for the need for a new art of healing in place of the dominant and pervasive technology and politics of killing. It discusses manifold creative theories and practices of healing in self, society, and the world as well as new movements in social theory, philosophy, and social sciences which deploy creative methods of art and performance in healing our psychic and social wounds. It explores the spiritual, social, ethical, and political dimensions of health and healing. This pioneering work will be of great interest to scholars and researchers of social theory, sociology, politics, philosophy, and psychology.

This book offers a Christological account developed among the poor in Latin America and their experience of a God incarnated in history. It places two realities together: the academia, where faith is object of studies, and the grassroots community, where faith is embodied. The author introduces the reader to a contemporary Christological discussion from a Latin American liberating perspective with three essential characteristics: first, it is a Christology created from the reality of the poor and marginalized and, at the same time, oriented toward this reality as a pastoral resource. Second, its method goes beyond the polarization Christology from below and Christology from above. Third, it is a Christological essay that has a biblical text at its center (Lk 4, 16-30) as a starting point from where important theological disciplines are stressed, such as systematic theology, moral theology, and liturgy. In this way, this book presents to the readers how different areas of theology are related and form a unity around the mystery of Christ and the faith experience of a Christian community. Therefore, it is an excellent book to initiate people in theological studies and method that can be used in theological classes in colleges, schools, and Catholic communities.

This volume examines the idea of ancient education in a series of essays which span the archaic period to late antiquity. It calls into question the idea that education in antiquity is a disinterested process, arguing that teaching and learning were activities that occurred in the context of society. Education in Greek and Roman Antiquity brings together the scholarship of fourteen classicists who from their distinctive perspectives pluralize our understanding of what it meant to teach and learn in antiquity. These scholars together show that ancient education was a process of socialization that occurred through a variety of discourses and activities including poetry, rhetoric, law, philosophy, art and religion.
