This book is a self-teaching guide to the SPSS for Windows computer package. It is designed to be used with SPSS version 8.0 and beyond, although many of the procedures are also applicable to earlier versions of SPSS. This manual describes basic de scriptive statistics through multiple regression analysis, with three chapters (7-9) that discuss probability theory. Simple definitions of statistical concepts are pro vided for each procedure.
