Efecto Del Nitr Geno Y La Oferta De Forraje En Un Pastizal Natural written by Ramiro Zanoniani and has been published by Eae Editorial Academia Espanola this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-10 with categories.

Disturbios Diversidad Y Estabilidad En El Pastizal written by Daniel N. Arroyo and has been published by Eae Editorial Academia Espanola this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-12 with categories.

Saline And Alkaline Soils In Latin America written by Edith Taleisnik and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-09-26 with Nature categories.

This book provides the first comprehensive overview of saline and alkaline soils in Latin America, known for having one of the most extensive surface of salt-affected soils in the world. It is organized along two main axes: soils and vegetation. The book discusses the occurrence of such soils in the region, focusing mainly in management strategies for their sustainable use, and it presents accounts of natural vegetation and crops in the various environments of the region. Social impacts of such conditions and ongoing projects to overcome them are considered. Likewise, the book highlights physiological mechanisms that are responsible for the negative effects these soils exert on crops and forest resources and determine vegetation distribution in them. Plant breeding challenges and new perspectives for such environments are discussed. Technologies such as irrigation and drainage are included. The readership includes soil and plant scientists, as well as policy makers.

Silvopastoral Systems In Southern South America written by Pablo Luis Peri and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-03-02 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This multi-authored volume contains peer-reviewed chapters from leading researchers and professionals in silvopastoral systems topic in Southern South America (Argentina, Chile and South Brazil). It is a compendium of original research articles, case studies, and regional overviews and summarizes the current state of knowledge on different components and aspects (pasture production, animal production, trees production, carbon sequestration, conservation) of silvopatoral systems in native forests and tree plantations. The main hypothesis of the book is that farmers have integrated tree and pasture/grassland species in their land use systems to reach higher production per unit of land area, risk avoidance, product diversification, and sustainability. These production systems also impact positively in main ecosystem processes. Management of these productive systems, Policy and Socioeconomic Aspects provide great opportunities and challenges for farmers and policy makers in our region. The book is unique on this subject in Southern South America and constitutes a valuable reference material for graduate students, professors, scientists and extensionists who work with silvopastoral systems.
