Ou melhor, nos dá a impressão de que tudo escrito nessas páginas é sobre algo que nós, algum dia, vivemos. Logo na abertura do livro, somos impactados por um poema que sintetiza a obra como um todo. A paixão nos é mostrada como uma flecha, que nos acerta na fresta da armadura. Arrebatador e inevitável. E não só isso, pois o poema ainda diz: "chaga / que se manifesta em toda parte / corpo e ser". E como todo bom livro de poemas intimistas, há sempre um interlocutor para quem os versos são destinados. Percebe-se esse interlocutor – em alguns pontos idealizado, sempre desejado – em diversos trechos, como por exemplo no poema A ti, muitos versos, onde se lê: "mantenho-o vivo / chama ardente / dentro de mim." Mais impactante ainda, esse destinatário é visto no belo trecho de um poema sem título: "Deixa cuidar de você transpor a armadura de sempre fortaleza conhecer seus anseios, e guardar seus segredos" Fernanda nos presenteia com um livro intenso, feito de saudades, sonhos, desejos.
