Vintage Apothecary Label Ephemera Inside this 8.5"x11" (21.59cm x 27.94cm) paperback book is a rare collection of vintage apothecary paper ephemera label cutouts, perfect for all your personal and commercial arts and crafts. All of the 300+ included images have been curated by the author from druggist label sample books from 1875 and 1884. Some of the vintage dispensary labels are what are called blanks, used by druggists to fill out prescriptions. Others are preprinted with names of what would be inside the container to be labeled. Medicines, extracts, cologne, hair tonic, and liquor labels are all part of this ephemera collection. Images in this book have been cropped and digitally enhanced by the author to provide the best possible image quality. Printed on 60# (100 GSM), the non-perforated paper has a slight sheen to it. Each sheet has a complimentary, neutral tone background with blank backsides of the same color. Pages can be easily cut or torn out of this paperback book. All images can be scanned, copied, and resized as needed for your creative projects. Image sizes vary, with most from 1"x2" to 3"x5". Images have been placed in both landscape and portrait on the pages to maximize the number of images in this collection. NOTE: Apothecary is the term used for someone who compounds medicines and distributes them to doctors and patients. (Ironically, in the 1800s, these professionals also sold liquor as medicine.)
