Bovendien kunnen die criteria een leidraad vormen voor het eigen seksueel gedrag. Het vlaggensysteem is ontwikkeld door Sensoa in samenwerking met Movisie en het werkveld in Vlaanderen. Er zijn inmiddels al afgeleiden ontwikkeld op maat van sportclubs en het jeugdwerk. Deze box bevat: Een geactualiseerde tweede druk van het boek waarin het vlaggensysteem uitgelegd en onderbouwd wordt. In het boek staan onder meer methodes om met de kaarten aan de slag te gaan. Achteraan staat een beknopte lijst van seksuele gedragingen die veel voorkomen op een bepaalde leeftijd. Die normatieve lijst stelt je in staat om het seksueel gedrag van kinderen en jongeren beter te beoordelen. 44 kaarten waarop concrete situaties staan afgebeeld van seksueel gedrag van kinderen en jongeren. Elke situatie wordt beoordeeld aan de hand van de zes criteria voor gezond seksueel gedrag. Op basis van die beoordeling wordt een pedagogische reactie gesuggereerd.
