Volumul, reunind comunicările de la această ediție aparte, se deschide cu două texte tot aparte, ce omagiază doi profesori cărora comunitatea academică din facultatea noastră le datorează foarte mult, atât instituțional, cât și profesional și uman: Ioana Valentina Murăruș și Emil Ionescu. Prin acest volum, care le este așadar dedicat în semn de recunoștință și prețuire, dorim să le mulțumim cu toții, colegi și discipoli. La cele patru secțiuni cuprinse în mod obișnuit în actele colocviului se adaugă de această dată o secțiune nouă, care conține o selecție de texte ale comunicărilor de la atelierul despre standardizare. Dintre subiectele tratate în secțiunea de gramatică și fonetică, amintim: coordonarea asimetrică (Mihaela Tănase-Dogaru și Mădălina Tăbăcitu), construcția partitivă (Ionuț Pomian), problemele ce țin de grafia flectivelor la împrumuturile recente (Șerban Hartular), contextele în care apare adverbul apoi (Mădălina Botez Stănescu), utilizările speciale ale prepozițiilor în româna regională (Isabela Nedelcu), posibile analize ale substantivelor definite generice (Andreea Mastu), anafora abstractă (Ruxandra Ivan) etc.

Limbă, societate, cultură.
