Meine Motivation für dieses Buch. Nachdem wir jahrelang den Volkswagen T6-Campingmarkt sondierten und entsprechende Campingausbauten anschauten und testeten, konnten wir uns endlich mit einem guten Gefühl für einen neuen T6 Camper entscheiden. Der Weg dorthin war lang, denn es fehlte uns die passende Literatur, um sich mithilfe von Büchern eine eigene Meinung zu bilden. Denn wenn man einen T6 als Camper kaufen möchte, um am Vanlife teilzuhaben (so wird das heute ja gerne genannt, wobei ich es lieber Buslife nenne, denn wir fahren ja mit dem Bus), steht man vor der großen Herausforderung, sich durch den riesigen Markt der Möglichkeiten durchzuwühlen, bis man den richtigen findet. Man kann natürlich jahrelang auf Messen fahren und sämtliche Campingzeitschriften lesen, doch der Aufwand ist enorm. Oder man kauft den erstbesten, doch der Ärger ist anschließend groß, wenn man kurz danach einen anderen sieht, der noch besser zu einem gepasst hätte. Mehr Auswahl führt dazu, dass Passendere, vielleicht sogar Ideale, zu finden. Doch dafür muss man sich viel stärker mit der Materie befassen als früher. Das habe ich für Euch getan und das Ergebnis hältst Du in Deinen Händen. In diesem Buch findest Du hilfreiche Tipps, wie ein T6 als Basisfahrzeug ausgestattet werden könnte. Zudem bietet Dir dieses Buch einen Vergleich von 85 VW T6 Campingausbauern. Diese sind zielgruppengerecht und vergleichbar mit ihren jeweiligen Alleinstellungsmerkmalen beschrieben. Du findest zudem auch eine Übersicht, wo welcher Ausbauer in Deutschland seinen Sitz hat und wer wie preislich im Markt positioniert ist. Des Weiteren kannst Du hier lesen, wie ein T6 Camper in der Werkstatt Hochzeit feiert, also Basisfahrzeug plus Dach und Campingeinrichtung, und wie die Abholung beim Ausbauer abläuft und wie sich das auch anfühlt.
