Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2001 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Arbeit, Betrieb, Organisation, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz; Standort Görlitz (Studiengang Kommunikationspsychologie), Veranstaltung: Prozessorganisation und Kommunikation im betrieblichen Kontext, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: [...] Gerade bei einem so langen und vielleicht verwirrenden Titel wie „Vor- und Nachteile flacher bzw. steiler Hierarchien und unterschiedliche Anforderungen an Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme“ ist es meiner Meinung nach sinnvoll Anfangs zu klären, in welchen Kategorien wir uns bewegen. Zunächst ist es nötig festzulegen, in welchem sozialen Gebilde wir Hierarchien untersuchen. Menschenansammlungen lassen sich ja beliebig unterteilen, etwa in Familie, Verband, Menge oder Masse (...). Wir werden uns im folgenden mit Gruppen im betrieblichen Kontext beschäftigen. Diese Feststellung halte ich für wichtig, denn diese Gruppe unterscheidet sich in vielerlei Hinsicht von den anderen Gruppen, etwa durch ihre Organisation, ihre Kommunikation, die Abhängigkeiten in der Gruppe u.v.m. Des weiteren halte ich es für wichtig zu klären, welches Menschenbild diesem Referat zu Grunde liegt. Seit jeher versucht der Wissenschaft die verwirrende Vielfalt individueller Erscheinungen zu ordnen und schafft Typen oder Klassen, welche die menschlichen Verhaltensweisen überschaubar und vorhersagbar machen sollen. In den letzten 100 Jahren hat sich das Bild vom „Menschen in einer Gruppe“ stark geändert. Dazu gibt es mittlerweile Kubikmeterweise Literatur, etwa über Über- bzw. Unterordnungsverhältnisse in Gruppen. Es lohnt sich, einmal einen Blick in die älteren Schriften zu werfen und das ihnen zu Grunde liegende Menschenbild zu reflektieren. In seinem Buch „Psychologie der Massen“ (vgl. Psychologie des foules, 1911) schreibt Le Bon: „Sobald eine gewisse Anzahl lebender Wesen vereinigt ist, einerlei, ob eine Herde Tiere oder eine Menschenmenge, unterstellen sie sich unwillkürlich einem Oberhaupt, d.h. einem Führer“ (vgl. S. 83). Diese Vorstellung vom in der Masse aufgehenden, kritiklosen und zu primitiven Reaktionen neigenden Individuum ist heute nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Die Individuen in den von uns untersuchten Gruppen werden als Menschen gesehen, die „nach Selbstverwirklichung, Autonomie und Selbstkontrolle streben“ (vgl. Hacker 2001, S. 53). Das Menschenbild des „selfactualizing man“ postuliert einen aktiven Menschen, der „Subjekt seiner Handlungen ist und deren Ergebnisse auch selbst überprüft“. Im Folgenden werden wir erörtern, wie sich verschiedene Arten von Hierarchien auswirken, welche Vor- und Nachteile mit ihnen verbunden sind und wie sie die innerbetriebliche Kommunikation zwischen den „selfactualizing men“ beeinflussen.
