EL VUELO DE UN SUEÑO Un joven estudiante, sufre una terrible frustración, al quebrarse su anhelo de ingresar a un centro de estudios superiores. Con impaciencia trata de encontrar un rayo de luz y esperanza, que lo ayude a reorientar sus pasos en la dirección correcta. Su familia intenta apoyarlo, antes de que su espíritu se vea arrastrado por el torbellino de la desesperación y el desatino. Acuerdan realizar un viaje familiar a USA, materializando un plan de vacaciones pendientes, que estuvieron postergando por varios años, al interponerse una serie de razones. Disfrutaron de vacaciones asombrosas y los familiares regresan a su país; pero Juan Rodríguez, con la autorización de sus padres y el apoyo de su primo Pedro, decide buscar nuevas rutas de superación. A partir de ese momento, se desarrollan una serie de actividades que abarcan estudios y trabajos, mientras va logrando adaptarse al estilo y la modalidad del ambiente americano, encontrando en el trayecto, el reconocimiento y el apoyo que le facilitan avanzar hacia el logro de su invariable vocación. El camino recorrido, no fue tan simple ni sencillo, estuvo lleno de vicisitudes que fueron templando su personalidad hasta convertirlo en la persona útil de enorme valor profesional. En las secuencias del relato, el autor describe con realismo, acontecimientos dramáticos, sucesos trágicos y también de suspenso, sin omitir las emotivas, con una fuerte carga romántica. La narración que aparece en la obra, ha sido elaborada por el autor, en base a las referencias proporcionadas, por los participantes reales, cuyos rostros y nombres, fueron enmascarados por obvias razones, procurando ajustarse a la verdadera historia, con una dosis mesurada de la fi cción, para acercarse a las situaciones semejantes, experimentadas por muchos inmigrantes. Análoga, a los que iniciaron la audaz aventura, partiendo desde algún lugar de orígen lejano; y lograron alcanzar el éxito, con la indomable fuerza de voluntad y el espíritu de superación, que les permitió transformar el sueño de la esperanza, en realidad sobre territorio americano. At 22 years of age, Captain Carranza was considered The Mexican Lindbergh for his long-distance flights. Not only was he a pilot, but also a military man. In 1928, Captain Carranza set his goals in the The Goodwill Flight. Once completed his flight from Mexico City to Washington, DC the young wouldn't fly back in the middle of a bad storm if it wasn't for a telegram from General Amaro ordering to go back to Mexico immediately. His plane crashed shortly after he departed. Thanks to the Legion Post of Mount Holly, NJ every first weekend of July, there's a ceremony in memory of The Mexican Lindbergh.
