Beispiele für Lexikon Begriffe: npn-Transistor {Elektronik}: NPN-Transistor: Eine Basis aus P-leitendem Halbleitermaterial ist zwischen einem Emitter und einem Kollektor aus N-leitendem Material angeordnet. Die drei Elektroden heißen Basis, Emitter und Kollektor, durch die der Strom fließt. In einem NPN-Transistor sind die Elektronen die Majoritätsträger , die vom Emitter zur Basis abfließen. Ankerstromrichter {Antriebstechnik}: Ist ein Steuerbarer Gleichrichter als Stellglied zur Veränderung der Ankerspannung des Gleichstrommotors. Feldeffekttransistoren {Elektronik}: Im Gegensatz zum bipolaren Transistor wird der Feldeffekttransistor (FET) durch ein elektrisches Feld gesteuert. Man erhält dudurch eine nahezu leistungslose Steuerung bzw. einen extrem hohen Eingangswiderstand. induktive Näherungsschalter {Messen,Steuern,Regeln}: Der induktive Näherungsschalter besteht aus einer wechselstromdurchflossenen Spule, die ein magnetisches Wechselfeld generiert. Der Wechselstrom entsteht mit Hilfe eines Oszillators. Gelangt ein metallischer Gegenstand in dieses Magnetfeld, verändert die Spule den Leitwert. Dadurch wird die Schwingungsamplitude beeinflusst.
