This national bestseller is not only the guiding “centerpiece of a robust new grassroots machinery” (Rolling Stone), it is the story of democracy under threat. It’s the story of a movement rising up to respond. And it’s a story of what comes next. Shortly after Trump’s 2016 election, two outraged former congressional staffers wrote and posted a tactical guide to resisting the Trump agenda. This Google Doc entitled “Indivisible” was meant to be read by friends and family. No one could have predicted what happened next. It went viral, sparking the creation of thousands of local Indivisible groups in red, blue, and purple states, mobilizing millions of people who had never engaged in politics before. Between one and two million were inspired—they canvassed, caravanned, shouted back, and ran for office. Proof of concept: A blue 116th House of Representatives. In We Are Indivisible: A Blueprint for Democracy After Trump, the directors of Indivisible tell the story of the movement. They offer a behind-the-scenes look at how change comes to Washington, whether Washington wants it or not. And they explain how we’ll win the coming fight for the future of American democracy. We Are Indivisible isn’t a book of platitudes about hope; it’s a steely-eyed guide to people power—how to find it, how to build it, and how to use it to save our country. *All proceeds to the author go to Indivisible’s Save Democracy Fund

"Did we brave all then, to falter now? Now, when that same enemy is wavering, dissevered, and belligerent? The result is not doubtful. We shall not fail--if we stand firm, we shall not fail. Wise counsels may accelerate, or mistakes delay it, but, sooner or later, the victory is sure to come" (Abraham Lincoln). The victory is sure to come because we are indivisible as a nation, as churches, as people, as families. Not due to our own strength but rather in the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ. *** Whoever first said it is not about you did not see things as I see them. It is about me, it is all about me. Personal responsibility is mine; and most of what I am, who I am, and who I will be in the future is about me. The choices I make are mine. When I fall on my face, I have to get back up. When I reach the top of the mountain, it is because I took the first step. This is not to say that others were not there helping (or in some cases hindering); but to have an indivisible spirit, we must be first willing to accept personal responsibility for both the good and bad in our lives. What does it take to live indivisible? Those who over the years have pledged to give their all for life, liberty, and freedom know exactly what it takes to live indivisible. Found in the pages of this book are the stories that have helped me to discover how to live indivisible. It is my hope that you are entertained as you read the stories of a boy growing up in West Texas, but more important that you come to realize the key to living indivisible yourself.

This timely, moving debut novel follows a teen's efforts to keep his family together as his parents face deportation. Mateo Garcia and his younger sister, Sophie, have been taught to fear one word for as long as they can remember: deportation. Over the past few years, however, the fear that their undocumented immigrant parents could be sent back to Mexico started to fade. Ma and Pa have been in the United States for so long, they have American-born children, and they're hard workers and good neighbors. When Mateo returns from school one day to find that his parents have been taken by ICE, he realizes that his family's worst nightmare has become a reality. With his parents' fate and his own future hanging in the balance, Mateo must figure out who he is and what he is capable of, even as he's forced to question what it means to be an American. Daniel Aleman's Indivisible is a remarkable story—both powerful in its explorations of immigration in America and deeply intimate in its portrait of a teen boy driven by his fierce, protective love for his parents and his sister.

Indivisible? No. In fact, our nation is more sharply divided than ever before. Hyper-partisanship is pulling us apart. We all know it, we feel it, we complain about it - but we can't seem to fix it.The problem is not that we are too conservative or too progressive - it's that we let our political differences, our animosities and our distrust dictate our actions on all matters. Basically, we Americans all want the same things for our country. With so many common problems, why is it that we can't work together for the common good?In this book, author Jack DeVine examines that question in depth. He examines 13 key issues of the day, searches for a common ground position for each, and challenges our political leaders-- and ourselves--to seize that common ground and use it as a springboard to enduring progress.

Denise Hamilton helps readers unpack their preconceived notions and reimagine a world that’s better than just “inclusive.” Denise Hamilton has always believed in the power and promise of a word she learned as a schoolgirl: “indivisible.” In her groundbreaking debut, she challenges readers to move beyond current notions of diversity and inclusion to build communities, workplaces, and relationships that live up to that word. She urges us to reexamine long-held beliefs and habits and to dismantle hierarchies that shape our current society. If we want to repair the fraying stitches that bind us together, if we want to build a truly close-knit collective, we cannot settle for our present approach. It’s time to recalibrate and identify a goal higher than inclusivity—the goal of indivisibility. As a nationally recognized DEI leader, Hamilton shares accessible, personal stories and offers self-examination questions, intentional action steps, and journal prompts. While the book has a focus on business and leadership, the lessons within can transform our professional and personal lives.

Many books have been written on conservative politics. Many more have been written calling Christians to holiness and spiritual revival. Few, however, have managed to combine a clear explanation of the conservative political perspective with its corresponding personal and spiritual virtue. In INDIVISIBLE, James Robison, the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, partners with Jay Richards, Ph.D., a writer who has appeared in both the New York Times and The Washington Post. Together, they tackle tough, controversial political issues facing conservative Christians today, including abortion, stem cell research, education, economics, health care, the environment, judicial activism, marriage, and others. Written to appeal to a broad spectrum of believers, INDIVISIBLE not only argues political questions from a Scriptural standpoint, it also provides simple arguments that Christians can use to support their beliefs in public settings. Most significantly, Robison and Richards recognize that the point of origin for spiritual and moral transformation is the individual. "We are convinced by historical precedent that long term cultural change requires not merely sound thinking and public good works but rather, God's spiritual and moral transformation of us as individuals, which will then transform our churches, our communities, our culture, and ultimately our politics." James Robison is the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, a worldwide Christian relief organization. He is also the host of LIFE Today, a daily syndicated television program that reaches 300 million homes in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. He is the author of many books, including The Absolutes, True Prosperity, and Living in Love, and has spoken to millions of people through evangelistic crusades since entering public ministry in 1962. Jay W. Richards, Ph.D., is a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute and the author of many books, including the award-winning Money, Greed, and God and The Privileged Planet. He is the executive director of the documentaries The Call of the Entrepreneur and The Birth of Freedom. He has been featured in the New York Times and the Washington Post and has appeared on Larry King Live. He has also lectured on economic myths to members of the U.S. Congress.

Inspired by true events, Indivisible is a story of love, service, and finding each other all over again. Darren and Heather Turner share a passion for serving God, family, and country. When Darren is deployed to Iraq as an army chaplain, Heather vows to serve military families back home as she cares for the couple’s three young children. Darren knows he’s overseas to support the troops in their suffering as their chaplain. What he doesn’t know is how he will get through his own dark moments. And as communication from Darren dwindles, Heather wonders what is happening in her husband’s heart. Meanwhile, she’s growing weary in the day-to-day life of a military base—each child’s milestone Darren will never see, each month waiting for orders, each late-night knock on the door. When Darren returns, he is no longer the husband Heather once knew. She is no longer the woman Darren wed. And so it’s at home that the Turners face their biggest battle: to save their marriage. Based on the screen play by David Evans, Indivisible is a tribute to the beauty of serving our country, the courage of choosing love in the darkness, and the power of a God who never gives up hope.

Five freshly decapitated human heads are thrown onto a crowded dance floor in western Mexico. A Mexican drug cartel dismembers the body of a rival and then stitches his face onto a soccer ball. These are the sorts of grisly tales that dominate the media, infiltrate movies and TV shows, and ultimately shape Americans' perception of Mexico as a dangerous and scary place, overrun by brutal drug lords. Without a doubt, the drug war is real. In the last six years, over 60,000 people have been murdered in narco-related crimes. But, there is far more to Mexico's story than this gruesome narrative would suggest. While thugs have been grabbing the headlines, Mexico has undergone an unprecedented and under-publicized political, economic, and social transformation. In her groundbreaking book, Two Nations Indivisible, Shannon K. O'Neil argues that the United States is making a grave mistake by focusing on the politics of antagonism toward Mexico. Rather, we should wake up to the revolution of prosperity now unfolding there. The news that isn't being reported is that, over the last decade, Mexico has become a real democracy, providing its citizens a greater voice and opportunities to succeed on their own side of the border. Armed with higher levels of education, upwardly-mobile men and women have been working their way out of poverty, building the largest, most stable middle class in Mexico's history. This is the Mexico Americans need to get to know. Now more than ever, the two countries are indivisible. It is past time for the U.S. to forge a new relationship with its southern neighbor. Because in no uncertain terms, our future depends on it.

Brynn's utopia is shattered when she learns her life has been a lie constructed by the very government she's trusted to make her decisions for her. What's worse is learning she's the next target on their kill list. She knows to survive, she has to remove the one thing that gives her substance, security and transport, the one thing the Alliance relies on to track each Citizen of One United. Once removed, she must run to save her life - with a boy she barely knows, a boy who holds her future and heart in his hands. Now Brynn and T are truly on their own ... against the power of One United. A Note From the Author: inDIVISIBLE began as a disturbing dream in which the government had taken control of our lives on even the most basic level. As I saw the story unfold, it was almost as if the government spoke within my head, directing me in every aspect of life, invading my personal thoughts and dreams. Honestly, it freaked me out a bit. I like my freedom. I like to do things spur of the moment, and living under this type of order and scrutiny was a horrifying and yet somehow realistic idea. As the idea and the feelings of loss consumed me, I began writing the story of Brynn and her realization that her freedom had been stolen without ever realizing it consciously. Since writing the book I've had many people ask me how I did the research to write it. I didn't. That's just it. I didn't research. I left the story up to my heart. Of course, the little things I've noticed in my life and the lives of my children fed into the story to contribute to an invasive future where no one is safe to pursue their own creativity, own thought process and own identity. Probably the biggest contributor to this element of the novel is an experience I had with my daughters at a local public school when I questioned the principal about special programs for my girls who were bored and wanted a challenge. She stated, "Children at E-- Elementary are not allowed to excel." Yes, that's a direct quote. We pulled our children out of that school that day and they never returned. The introduction of tablets at my girls' new school fed into the story along with news reports I saw of principals spying on their students and schools instituting palm-scanning before children can eat lunch at school. I know I'm not alone in the belief that we are not machines. We are not property of any government entity. And yet, if we don't stand up for what we believe, what then? I guess deep down, inDIVISIBLE is my answer to that question. "I truly was captivated from beginning to the very end. The way you describe each detail as the story unfolds creates such vivid images in my mind." J. Hayes, Editor "Just so you know you made me cry, that is how much I was into your book!" J. Jones "I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very smart! I love stores that have clever plots and characters I can root for." A. Easton, Book Reviewer "inDIVISIBLE was inspiring, and taught me the true meaning of freedom and the lengths people will go to in order to achieve it." D. Fox, Book Reviewer inDIVISIBLE has been nominated for the Whitney Award for novels written in the year 2012. Winners will be announced in the spring of 2013. The first in a three book One United Series, book two will be released in the spring of 2013.
