Los ejemplos que se detallan en la guía se encuentran realizados en varios lenguajes diferentes que interactúan entre ellos, lo que ayudará a comprender la no dependencia de lenguajes utilizados para la creación de los servicios ni de los clientes. El CD-ROM adjunto contiene el material necesario para que se introduzca en el mundo de los web service: así incluye, entornos de desarrollo, herramientas de depuración, servidores, etc.
