This book was written for Mormons whether new or lifelong members or Christians who want to know more about Mormonism or have friends that are Mormon. It will explain why the Book of Mormon could not have been engraved by Book of Mormon prophets and is in fact a fabrication of Joseph Smith. There is proof that Mormonism has many instances of false prophesy and there are biblical warnings about issues in the Mormon Church that are brought to light. The most important error in Mormonism is that Mormons believe they will become gods and goddesses if they live worthy lives. It is the phrase "you will be like God", that got Adam and Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden and how Lucifer was cast out of heaven. There is much more included in the book that will support my assertion that the Mormon Church is not the one and only true church as they claim it is, but rather a counterfeit Christian church. Today, Mormons claim that they are Christian. However, they preach a different gospel and worship a different Jesus. Satan, using Joseph Smith, created a near perfect counterfeit church of Truth mixed with subtle lies. It is insidious and has deceived many. When Truth is confronted by Error, Error questions the authority of Truth. I would encourage you to read the whole book and then draw your own conclusions. Finally and most importantly, the Mormon belief of becoming gods and goddess is not only false, but is also arrogant and very offensive to God. That's what Satan used in the garden to deceive Eve. In Genesia 2:5 he said, "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. In Isaiah 14: 13-14, Lucifer (Satan) said in the 5 "I wills", For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. God does not share his glory with anyone else and He has proclaimed that he is the one and only God, there are none besides Him. For these and additional reasons identified in the book, the Mormon Church is flawed.

Winner of a 2004 ECPA Gold Medallion Award! Winner of an Award of Excellence in the 2003 Chicago Book Clinic! What is real? What is truth? What can we know? What should we believe? What should we do and why? Is there a God? Can we know him? Do Christian doctrines make sense? Can we believe in God in the face of evil? These are fundamental questions that any thinking person wants answers to. These are questions that philosophy addresses. And the answers we give to these kinds of questions serve as the the foundation stones for consrtucting any kind of worldview. In Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview J.P. Moreland and William Lane Craig offer a comprehensive introduction to philosophy from a Christian perspective. In their broad sweep they seek to introduce readers to the principal subdisciplines of philosophy, including epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of science, ethics and philosophy of religion. They do so with characteristic clarity and incisiveness. Arguments are clearly outlined, and rival theories are presented with fairness and accuracy. Philosophy, they contend, aids Christians in the tasks of apologetics, polemics and systematic theology. It reflects our having been made in the image of God, helps us to extend biblical teaching into areas not expressly addressed in Scripture, facilitates the spiritual discipline of study, enhances the boldness and self-image of the Christian community, and is requisite to the essential task of integrating faith and learning. Here is a lively and thorough introduction to philosophy for all who want to know reality.

"Mormonism, or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is America's most successful--and most misunderstood--home grown religion. Avoiding the textbook, narrative approach of most introductions, this volume instead poses well over a hundred commonly asked questions--and some not so common!--and provides thoughtful, short essays in response. The question and answer format means enhanced readability; perfect for casual browsing or in-depth study. General topics include theology, culture, history, scripture, and practice. Questions range from the straightforward ("What circumstances gave rise to Mormonism?"), to the controversial ("Why do Mormons Accept the Book of Abraham as scripture if Egyptologists have discredited it?") to the exotic ("What is Kolob?"; "Is the Garden of Eden in Missouri?")"--

Do you know a Mormon? Do you know the truth? The best gift that you can give to someone you care about who is being influenced by Mormonism is that which opens their eyes to the truth. Even if you don't know a Mormon, will you be ready when a Mormon missionary knocks on your door? "What Every Mormon Needs to See" equips the Christian to share the truth with Mormons. What's more, it was written directly to Mormons. It is one of the best gifts you can give them. The Bible provides at least 7 ways to test an aspiring prophet. This book reveals what happens when Joseph Smith is subjected to these tests. When Joseph was tested according to Deuteronomy 18, he failed. There is still nothing but grass in the place where he said the temple would stand "in this generation". What's more, the failure of his temple prophecy was not random. It was the failure of his temple theology. It was the failure of Mormonism at the very point of its distinct identity. Every Mormon needs to see the evidence provided in this book and be encouraged to examine the Scriptures to see if these things are so.

A Mormon In The White House written by Hugh Hewitt and has been published by Simon and Schuster this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-03-12 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

According to author and radio personality Hewitt, Mitt Romney-billionaire venture capitalist, consummate family man, gifted and media-savvy politician-would be unstoppable in the coming presidential race were it not for one niggling line on his resumé: he's a Mormon. Hewitt attempts to refute the claim that no Mormon could get elected President (along with any other claim that might be made against Romney) while analyzing the former Massachusetts governor's biography and burnishing his conservative and leadership credentials. Hewitt is an agreeable writer, wise enough to take detours (such as an edifying primer on Mormon history and thought) that stave off tedium. He spends far more time extolling Romney than excoriating his Republican and Democratic opponents.
