Who do you say I am? The ones who heard of Jesus and did not know who He was, the ones who walked and followed Him knew who He was. I will testify who He is, and after my testimony, I will ask you, "Who do you say He is?" Everything was given to us by Christ. The natural order was given to us by Jesus and to me by my personal relationship with Him, which He accepted. The devil tries to stop our natural order: obedience, faith, love, and commitment to our walk in Christ.

Who Do You Say I Am seeks to bridge the gap between the reader who reads for empowerment and the reader who reads for knowledge. Both groups will receive what they seek, and even spiritual insight into the earthly life of Jesus, whose short ministry spawned a worldwide, life-changing movement that grows stronger with each soul saved. Readers are invited to travel back in time with the author and take a look at this itinerant teacher and preacher that history calls Jesus and millions call Savior. This book takes the reader through Old Testament messianic promises, Jewish history, and the gospel accounts, finally arriving in the fullness of God's time at a place in history where a man who lived in a precisely defined period of time, during the reigns of Augustus and Tiberius Caesar began a life-changing ministry. Read of Jesus's promised coming, and his birth. Visualize the every day trials of a Jewish lad on the road to manhood. Follow as the book looks at both earthly life and heavenly intervention, in seeking to know this man called Jesus. Dr. William Merrifield is a Southern Baptist deacon, minister, and a retired army chaplain. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Westminster Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Bill has been in the ministry for thirty-seven years. Bill and his wife, Jo Ann, currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina.

How Can They Say There is No God, When the Evidence is So Clear By: Barbara Crawford The author began journaling in 1985, maybe even earlier. She looked through her house, in closets and under the nightstand, discovering eight journals. She knew that discovery was of God. When she began reading the journals, she was in awe of how God was always there… and still is. How Can They Say There is No God, When the Evidence is so Clear is a journey through those miraculous journal entries and the author’s life – its ups and downs, its successes and failures, its joy and heartbreak. Through it all, God was there.

[This] is the most important question regarding the claims of the Christian faith. Certainly no question in modern religious history demands more attention or interest, as witnessed by the vast body of literature dealing with the Resurrection. James I. Packer says it well in his response to this debate: 'When Christians are asked to make good their claim that this scheme is truth, they point to Jesus' resurrection. The Easter event, so they affirm, demonstrated Jesus' deity; validated his teaching; attested to the completion of his work of atonement for sin; confirms his present cosmic dominion and coming reappearance as Judge; assures us that his personal pardon, presence, and power in people's lives today is fact; and guarantees each believer's own reembodiment by Resurrection in the world to come.' The Apostle Paul considered the Resurrection to be the cornerstone of the Christian faith. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, the whole structure, Christianity, collapses. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:14-17, 'And if Christ has not been raised, 'our preaching is useless and so is you faith.' More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God. . . . And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile [emphasis added].' The Christian faith-and its claim to be Truth-exists only if Jesus rose from the dead. The heart of Christianity is a living Christ.

Have you ever tried to explain yourself and had others simply just not get it or, worse, tell you that you are just plain crazy? That was what my life was indeed like due to Borderline Personality Disorder. But I am here to say that the faulty thinking process associated with this mental illness can be overridden and that it is indeed possible to learn how to effectively communicate with others. Through psychoanalysis, medication, and self-discovery of the inner personal negative belief system, the resultant concurrent, depression can be managed and somewhat discarded for more healthy ways of interacting with the outside world. It took me approximately seventeen years of therapy to be able to come to this conclusion, and I would just like the other BPDs to understand and believe that this can also happen for them.

A riveting story about the resiliency of Bronx high school students through the eyes of a passionate and dedicated teacher Rundown, vermin-infested buildings. rigid, slow-to-react bureaucratic systems. Children from broken homes and declining communities. How can a teacher succeed? How does a student not only survive but also come to thrive? It can happen, and As Bad as They Say? tells the heroic stories of Janet Mayer's students during her 33-year tenure as a Bronx high school teacher. In 1995, Janet Mayer's students began a pen-pal exchange with South African teenagers who, under apartheid, had been denied an education; almost uniformly, the South Africans asked, Is the Bronx as bad as they say? This dedicated teacher promised those students and all future ones that she would write a book to help change the stereotypical image of Bronx students and show that, in spite of overwhelming obstacles, they are outstanding young people, capable of the highest achievements. She walks the reader through the decrepit school building, describing in graphic detail the deplorable physical conditions that students and faculty navigate daily. Then, in eight chapters we meet eight amazing young people, a small sample of the more than 14,000 students the writer has felt honored to teach. She describes her own Bronx roots and the powerful influences that made her such a determined teacher. Finally, the veteran teacher sounds the alarm to stop the corruption and degradation of public education in the guise of what are euphemistically labeled "reforms" (No Child Left Behind and Race to the Top). She also expresses optimism that public education and our democracy can still be saved, urgently calling on all to become involved and help save our schools.
