The church will arise in the power of a Holy and righteous God; we will demonstrate the power, authority and dominion which the first Adam gave away in the soulish realm. We must have a new consciousness, knowing something better or greater awaits the body of Christ. When we are connected to the Holy Spirit and He is in full control of our lives, this will determine the strength, stability and the power that will be made available to the body of Christ. We have been extended an opportunity to usher the manifestation of the sons of God into this earth realm; the Kingdom of God is such a lovely place, right here on earth. Praise God! No Citizen Left Behind argues that students must be taught how to upend and reshape power relationships directly, through political and civic action. Drawing on political theory, empirical research, and her own on-the-ground experience, Levinson shows how de facto segregated urban schools can and must be at the center of this struggle. Recovering the civic purposes of public schools will take more than tweaking the curriculum. Levinson calls on schools to remake civic education.
