This book is the first systematic exposition on the emerging domain of wireless power transfer in ad hoc communication networks. It selectively spans a coherent, large spectrum of fundamental aspects of wireless power transfer, such as mobility management in the network, combined wireless power and information transfer, energy flow among network devices, joint activities with wireless power transfer (routing, data gathering and solar energy harvesting), and safety provisioning through electromagnetic radiation control, as well as fundamental and novel circuits and technologies enabling the wide application of wireless powering. Comprising a total of 27 chapters, contributed by leading experts, the content is organized into six thematic sections: technologies, communication, mobility, energy flow, joint operations, and electromagnetic radiation awareness. It will be valuable for researchers, engineers, educators, and students, and it may also be used as a supplement to academic courses on algorithmic applications, wireless protocols, distributed computing, and networking.

Modelling Of Wireless Power Transfer written by Ben Minnaert and has been published by MDPI this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-03-05 with Mathematics categories.
Wireless power transfer allows the transfer of energy from a transmitter to a receiver across an air gap, without any electrical connections. Technically, any device that needs power can become an application for wireless power transmission. The current list of applications is therefore very diverse, from low-power portable electronics and household devices to high-power industrial automation and electric vehicles. With the rise of IoT sensor networks and Industry 4.0, the presence of wireless energy transfer will only increase. In order to improve the current state of the art, models are being developed and tested experimentally. Such models allow simulating, quantifying, predicting, or visualizing certain aspects of the power transfer from transmitter(s) to receiver(s). Moreover, they often result in a better understanding of the fundamentals of the wireless link. This book presents a wonderful collection of peer-reviewed papers that focus on the modelling of wireless power transmission. It covers both inductive and capacitive wireless coupling and includes work on multiple transmitters and/or receivers.

Vibrator And Slot Antenna Arrays For Modern Applications written by Mikhail V. Nesterenko and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2024-11-22 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This book provides solutions to a complex of internal and external problems of electromagnetics associated with the development of theory, construction of mathematical models and the development of rigorous methods for calculating the electrodynamic characteristics of radiating structures and antenna arrays with impedance vibrator and slot elements. The issues related to the impedance synthesis of antenna arrays and analysis of large-aperture rectenna arrays are considered. Solutions to the problems of determining the electrodynamic characteristics of impedance vibrators, slot and multi-element radiators with arbitrary geometric and electrophysical parameters are obtained within the framework of a unified methodological approach to constructing asymptotic solutions of integral equations for currents. This approach made it possible to study a number of new vibrator, slotted, and combined vibrator-slotted structures and their multi-element systems. The original research results reveal the possibilities of using such structures as basic elements for creating modern antenna-waveguide devices operating in the range from meter to millimeter wavelengths which have new technical characteristics and functionalities. This book is intended for senior and postgraduate students and researchers working in the fields of radiophysics, radio engineering and antenna-feeder design. The book covers the following topics: Excitation of Electromagnetic Fields in Electrodynamic Volumes with Coordinate Boundaries General Aspects of the Theory of Thin Impedance Vibrators and Narrow Slots in a Quasi-One-Dimensional Approximation Impedance Vibrators Antenna Arrays Slotted Waveguide Antenna Arrays Combined Vibrator-Slot Antenna Arrays Impedance Synthesis for Vibrator Antenna Arrays Impedance Synthesis for Slot Antenna Arrays Large-Aperture Rectenna Arrays of Wireless Power Transmission Systems Ultrawideband Combined Vibrator-Slot Antenna Arrays
