Im Mittelpunkt dieser Studie steht die Veranschaulichung der Relevanz von Wissensmanagement fr Bildungseinrichtungen. Die Debatte um wirkungsvolle Konzepte und deren Legitimation h„lt seit einigen Jahren an, jedoch sind Best- Practice- Ans„tze haupts„chlich in Wirtschaftsbetrieben zu finden bzw. werden Konzepte fr solche entwickelt. Daraus resultierte die Motivation fr die Arbeit, n„mlich Konzepte, die vorrangig aus dem wirtschaftlichen Kontext stammen, auf ihre Tauglichkeit fr Bildungsorganisationen zu prfen. Bildungseinrichtungen mssen sich, wie auch Wirtschaftsbetriebe, einer zunehmend dynamischen Umwelt stellen. Einen Beitrag dazu kann Wissensmanagement leisten, indem Wissen als wichtige Ressource identifiziert, gepflegt und gesteuert wird. Organisational betrachtet muss es gelingen, erfolgskritisches Wissen zu sichern und innovative Bildungsprodukte zu generieren, um dem Wettbewerb standhalten zu k”nnen. Bezieht man die individuelle Perspektive noch mit ein, kann Wissensmanagement auch zur Kompetenzentwicklung einzelner Mitarbeiter genutzt werden. Fr die Erreichung dieser Ziele wird das Mnchener Modell von Reinmann- Rothmeier und Mandl betrachtet, welches neben der betriebswirtschaftlichen, eine psychologisch-p„dagogische Sichtweise einnimmt. So verlockend die Vereinfachung durch ein Modell erscheint, darf jedoch nicht auáer Acht gelassen werden, dass der Wissensprozess an sich ein komplexer und zum Teil schwer greifbarer Vorgang ist. Insbesondere wenn es um Wissenstransfer, also die Weitergabe von Know-how von Mitarbeiter zu Mitarbeiter geht, gibt es zahlreiche Kommunikationsst”rungen, die den Prozess beeintr„chtigen k”nnen. Daher ist es wichtig, erste Symptome von Kommunikationsst”rungen wahrzunehmen und den Ursachen auf den Grund zu gehen. Ein weiterer zentraler Aspekt fr den Erfolg von Wissensmanagementaktivit„ten ist die Einbeziehung geeigneter Anreize. W„hrend Anreizsysteme in Wirtschaftsunternehmen zum Standardinstrumentarium geh”ren, scheint diese Begrifflichkeit im Bildungssektor ein Fremdwort zu sein. Nach der Diskussion der unterschiedlichen Aspekte, die fr den Erfolg der Wissensmanagementaktivit„ten zust„ndig sind, setzt sich diese Studie mit konkreten Maánahmen auseinander, die den Wissenstransfer in Bildungseinrichtungen bef”rdern k”nnen.
