Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Klassiker und Theorierichtungen, Note: 1,7, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: HS Wissenssoziologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit soll deshalb untersuchen, wo sich bei Bourdieu Begriffe und Konzepte der phänomenologisch orientierten Wissenssoziologie wieder finden lassen und welche Rolle sie in seiner Theorie spielen. Darüber hinaus ließe sich die Frage stellen, inwiefern solche wissenssoziologischen Elemente von Bourdieu einfach übernommen, anders akzentuiert oder weiterentwickelt werden - kurzum was sein Beitrag zur Wissenssoziologie ist. Um möglichst viele Antworten auf diese Fragen zu erhalten, soll folgendermaßen vorgegangen werden: Zunächst erfolgt ein Abriss der zentralen Aussagen und Begriffe der phänomenologisch orientierten Wissenssoziologie von Schütz, Berger und Luckmann (2.1) sowie der Arbeit von Bourdieu (2.2), um mögliche Schnittstellen11 dazwischen auszumachen. Diese werden im sich daran anschließenden Abschnitt (3) jeweils anhand der dafür als relevant erachteten Begriffe näher erläutert und auf Übereinstimmung bzw. andere Akzentuierung hin überprüft. Dabei sollte auch betrachtet werden, wie Bourdieu die grundlegende wissenssoziologische Frage nach der Entstehung von Wissen und Erkenntnis beantwortet. Abschließend (4) erfolgt eine Zusammenfassung und Bewertung der vorliegenden Untersuchung.
