Erstaunlich ist vor allem, dass er selbst Jahre zuvor eine völlig konträre Meinung vertrat. Betrachtet man nun einige von Wittgenstein beschriebene Passagen der Philosophischen Untersuchungen und vergleicht seine Herangehensweise der Sprachbetrachtung mit der einer recht umstrittenen und dadurch nach wie vor aktuellen Strömung der Grammatiktheorie, nämlich der Konstruktionsgrammatik, dann lassen sich viele Parallelen erkennen und thematisieren.
