Fokus utama buku ini adalah implementasi kontrol PID menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino, ESP8266, dan ESP32 untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kehandalan sistem otomasi. Buku ini disusun dari pengalaman pembelajaran di Program Studi Teknologi Rekayasa Mekatronika Universitas Sanata Dharma, pada mata kuliah Workshop Mekatronika, dengan tema proyek pembuatan sistem otomasi pada konveyor. Dengan metode pembelajaran berupa Workshop, mahasiswa mendapat kesempatan untuk dapat merancang, merakit, mengkonfigurasi, dan memprogram perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras, serta mengintegrasikannya agar menghasilkan sistem otomasi, serta memecahkan masalah yang muncul dalam proses tersebut. Manfaat yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa dari perkuliahan Workshop ini adalah pengalaman praktis, pemahaman dalam penerapan konsep, pengembangan ketrampilan pemecahan masalah, peningkatan kreativitas, dan kerjasama dalam proyek bersama. Sebagai panduan dalam pelaksanaan Workshop, buku ini mengenalkan penggunaan software pemrograman Node-RED dan LabVIEW untuk memberikan alternatif pemrograman yang lebih visual dan intuitif. Di samping itu, dalam buku ini juga mengenalkan penggunaan simulator Proteus dan Wokwi untuk menguji dan mesimulasikan sistem kontrol sebelum diimplementasikan secara fisik. Dalam buku ini juga dikenalkan tentang komunikasi data, yang membuat sistem kontrol menjadi dapat diakses dari mana saja, menggunakan protokol komunikasi yang umum digunakan, yaitu Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, dan MQTT. Dengan demikian, sistem kontrol yang dibangun tidak hanya mudah digunakan dan dipahami, tetapi juga dapat diintegrasikan dengan berbagai perangkat dan dapat diimplementasikan di mana saja. Selain itu, pembaca akan mendapatkan wawasan mendalam tentang cara mengoptimalkan kinerja sistem kontrol, menjadikannya handal dan efisien. Buku ini dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembaca yang beragam, mulai dari pemula hingga mereka yang sudah memiliki dasar pengetahuan mekatronika. In 1989 the time was hot to create a workshop series dedicated to the dicussion of the latest results in the automatic processing of fringe patterns. This idea was promoted by the insight that automatic and high precision phase measurement techniques will play a key role in all future industrial applications of optical metrology. However, such a workshop must take place in a dynamic environment. The- fore the main topics of the previous events were always adapted to the most interesting subjects of the new period. In 1993 new prin- ples of optical shape measurement, setup calibration, phase unwr- ping and nondestructive testing were the focus of discussion, while in 1997 new approaches in multi-sensor metrology, active measu- ment strategies and hybrid processing technologies played a central role. 2001, the first meeting in the 21st century, was dedicated to - tical methods for micromeasurements, hybrid measurement te- nologies and new sensor solutions for industrial inspection. The fifth workshop takes place in Stuttgart, the capital of the state of Baden- Württemberg and the centre of a region with a long and remarkable tradition in engineering. Thus after Berlin 1989, Bremen 1993, 1997 and 2001, Stuttgart is the third Fringe city where international - perts will meet each other to share new ideas and concepts in optical metrology. This volume contains the papers presented during FRINGE 2005.
